The Astroneer Experiment, Part 2

Our long-form LPs and other discussion-heavy content certainly isn't going away. That said, we are eager to try more varied forms of additional content; some of them silly and dumb like this, and others perhaps more of a balance between the silliness and discussion, like our old "Twenty Minutes With" videos. We're also starting a new podcast, so stay tuned for that. We hope to get a new season started next week sometime. We are going to start a new season; that is, Life is Strange is cancelled, at least for the moment. It's unfortunate, because I do think there's some interesting stuff to say about that game, but given all the awkwardness and emotional baggage tied up with what happened there, none of us are really eager to continue it right now. But rest assured, we're not going to go full youtube silliness, at least not all the time.

This is exactly what I wanted to ask! I'm willing to wait and see if real game talk is par Big the mix when they tackle games they all know (I sure hope so), but the mean-spirited stuff isn't fun to listen to. I hope it's all in good fun and everyone is in on the jests, but it's impossible to tell from the outside.

Is Spoiler Warning going to be similar to these Astroneer videos in the future? It's certainly fun to play a game messing around with friends, but that doesn't seem to be very good for soliciting discussion from the audience. (Especially since some of the play seemed rather sweary and mean-spirited. Perhaps there was intonation that I was missing, which would have explained this behaviour as friendly fun-making amoungst close friends.) The astroneer videos were also devoid of any discussion from the crew themselves; Nothing about the game's mechanics, the fact that it's an early-access game, it's from a small studio. What's the content of SW going to be in the future?
