Because I def thought like, she'd pull up a website where it was easy to see them all and just pick her favs and least favs. That idea already seems like a big ask, I can't imagine the amount of work it would take to do something on that scale. Idk I guess I'm just not expecting main channel level of editing and time consumption? Just some extra videos to play in the background. My favorite ramble is trapped on a blizzard and I thought THAT could have been a main channel video.

Echoing some of the things people said about the commentary option: I also have to admit that I don't really watch things with commentaries and the idea of now sitting thru 2 hours of a bad movie seems a little off to me. Idk, I just prefer the usual ramble format with the fun and random topics and with upcoming projects update in the end. I noticed the 2nd place winning topic right now is the Halloween off-brand movie review. So my suggestion is to maybe mix the 2 winning topics- make the Halloween ramble and record a commentary for one of the movies from the ramble. Then I think everybody will be satisfied. However, I don't want to put more workload on something that is supposed to be fun and loose. And also, the commentary does seem to win the poll and it's the rambles are people's choice after all. So if my suggestion is too greedy and just puts more stress then I'm completely fine with just getting the commentary track.

I enjoy whenever Jenny talks about the business of being a YouTube creator, so it's a shame that hasn't been suggested as a ramble topic. I'd love to hear her talk about the algorithm, dealing with take-downs, and fun insights from her analytics (viewer breakdowns by age, gender, geography, etc.), so I'll upgrade to $25 for next month and suggest it myself. Hopefully others are as interested as I am 😅

Definitely 1950s horror, Cronenberg, and Jenny's choice. Cronenberg's one of my favorite directors. I think I'd watch anything he made, sight unseen, from his early horror stuff, the heady high concept sci-fi stuff, through his neo-noir phase. And there's a ton of great 1950s horror to choose from. There are some Vincent Price films to choose from, including The Tingler, House of Wax, The House on Haunted Hill, or The Fly (if you want to compare that to the Cronenberg version), or other horror films like Them, The Bad Seed, Godzilla, or Les Diaboliques.

I always feel like I’m on a different page from a lot of people because I’m not a huge fan of topics that: -have a strange inside joke attached to them that only a few patrons are in on -require watching multiple movies/shows -inherently require 80+ minutes of footage/audio to fulfil the concept -feel like parasocial attempts to ‘get to know’ Jenny …which wipes out a lot of topics haha. Obviously any topic that makes the poll has escaped being vetoed by Jenny, so I’m sure she’s fine with whatever, but I still prefer to keep rambles as light and easy-to-make as possible.

I don't know, maybe this has already been brought up, and maybe this isn't the place for suggestions, but how about Star Wars: Visions? I think some of those episodes (haven't seen all yet) are pretty cool. I like the irreverent takes on the star wars universe.

I think what people who are paying $25 to submit topics need to realize is that Jenny's getting tons of new patrons every month, and since we're relying on a majority of votes, we shouldn't be presenting topics to new voters who are unfamiliar, unlike more long-time fans, with topics like Sandra Lee, Squishmallow/Creepypasta, etc. Also keep in mind that older media (even if popular when it came out) isn't going to get the traction it needs - (Lady Bird, Hannibal). Thirdly, when you're suggesting topics, make it as clear as possible. DCOM originals might not get a vote from people who don't know that DCOM stands for Disney Channel Original Movie, and Malignant should be clarified as Malignant (2021 Film).
