For early-clickers I believe this is still processing, but here is the latest ramble winner!

Ramble: Strange Belongings

Comments

The mandrake plush is absolutely adorable and I love its little face

Em Bee

The sudden cut to Kylo Ren is so funny lmao

Lindsey Keefer

i had to find this video again to say i think about 9/11 furby at least twice a week now

Aimee W

I know this video is a number of years old now but I would totally support a Long Furby creation video.

Munchy Lunchco

Private :(

Oooch

the 9/11 ferby took the wind out of me

Jessica Pirnat

Your mandrake is amazing

Chelsea Counsell

omg... i... LOL... one year at disney tv, man... i can't even remember the celebration but they GAVE OUT those skull totems... and we were all so confused as to what they were. You solved a mystery I didn't know I wanted solved, but it's kinda cool to know what it is hahhaha.

Evon Freeman

Your a chuck e cheese person? Could you comment on all the fist fights at chuck e cheese?

Lost Johnny

i know i'm 3 months late i just have to say if you WERE and/or ARE considering doing a video on those...P L E A S E

KL

JENNY ARE THOSE THE STAR WARS: GALAXY OF FEAR NOVELS??

KL

"I would venture to guess..." Not-sufficiently celebrated 🎉 behind the more-immediate comedic ingenuity is a unique, incredibly skilful, & expertly-judged linguistic creativity

Shred Cadmium

I love that a single puzzle piece is just off colored enough to give Edward a patchwork face

keri

I personally loved the costume video, but your comfort is the most important thing.

Paul Herberger

Edward does need a few more sparkles. LOL

1000thghost

Talk about eye candy!

Steve Ray

Wait, Kimi Sparkle was you??? And Friendship is Witchcraft was partly you? I might be the only patron who's familiar with either of those channels but what a twist. Also since other people are doing it and I'm a shameless bandwagoner I'll add that the weirdest thing I own is a pair of hiking boot stilettos. I found them at a thrift store and thought they were so ridiculous that I couldn't not buy them.

Rosepetals

You, sir, see the higher Truth where others don't.

David Wilhelm Beckmann

Ah! So the Communist ideology (or superstructure) was built upon and supported by a foundation of the bluntest* economic realities? What a Marxian use of retail space! 😍 --- * Surely there are no blunter economics than those practiced by McDonald's.

Steve Ray

Yeah... *Jesuit-trained* screen-writers! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Christophers

Steve Ray

Did your catering go on until midnight? Or were you catering wearing night-vision goggles? If not , your ghost test must be deemed Inconclusive.

Steve Ray

Salty

Luis

I know the True Story behind that: Any book would count itself lucky to be owned by Jenny, so common sense tells us the luckiest books would be owned multiple times. --- * Like #7 in a series

Steve Ray

How did they taste?

Steve Ray

That desk... 10 out of 10! Also... Batman is on the wall fighting noise!

Alive_in_tucson

Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast just announced a My Little Pony/Magic the Gathering one off crossover product (they are calling it Ponies: the Galloping). It’s a little 3 card box set and they are donating at least a portion of the proceeds to Extra Life. Sounds like something right in your wheelhouse.

Joshua Crim

I’m not too crazy about another costume video, but I love imagining Jenny inexplicably owning a mannequin and dressing it up in cheap Halloween costumes.

The BabaDuck

The horse-shaped desk is amazing . . . but is it more amazing than giant foam Edward Cullen face? What if the horse-desk isn't the hero, what if it is the bad guy? I wasn't very good at Chuck E. Cheese games as a kid so I never got enough to buy more than like . . . bubblegum or a cheap harmonica. I wonder how many tickets the My Little Pony needed.

Monica McFadden

Oh I just noticed the shark head pen holder on the horse desk so cool I want one!

Luis

There are two ways to know when she's streaming. One is follow her on twitter, she posts a few hours before going live saying she was going to stream. The other is to follow her on twitch, her user name is ProgamerJenny. You can set alerts so you get a notification when she goes live.

Eric MacMillan

I'm a little disappointed that your inspiration for Edward Cullen puzzle wasn't to hang him up by Kylo Ren so they can both brood at you while you eat breakfast, but obviously your solution is both much more practical and bizarre

Michelle Irene Hanson

Jenny actually having Our Boy this whole time, would be the biggest twist ever.

Blue Corn

hmmmm. Not sure. I've never worked inside the building (I did cater an event in their parking lot and things seemed ghost free :)

Lauren Bromberg

Your personal comfort is definitely the most important thing. Don't pressure yourself to do a halloween costume video if you're uncomfortable with the kind of... negative attention it may get. Men can be gross, and you shouldn't have to do things you're uncomfortable with. Another possibility would be to get a mannequin to put the costumes on, or ask a friend who is comfortable with it to model for you.

Em

Is the office park possibly haunted by the ghost of an animatronic whale?

Shaun Cheah

OMG! I have worked in Wakefield for years and I never knew about the theme park. I actually know the office park you're talking about. That is so cool (and creepy)

Lauren Bromberg

Also, screen writers with an over used trope :P

Andrew Carney

Normally, the only people who make such crafty comments have had multiple years of Jesuit education. But Our Hostess *isn't* a Jesuit -- she's a YouTuber! Those aren't even similar...or *are* they?

Steve Ray

How did people know about these few streams? Add me to the list for being willing to put up with the growing pains and learning curve! I thought it was a great idea when you mentioned it. I absolutely watch for the personality rather than just for the game play and I think you would be a totally new take on it all!

Andrew Carney

Jenny, you must have known that mentioning you couldn’t show any illegally purchased animatronics would immediately make us all wonder what ones you have! We need some kind of comment on if YOU have Buzzy... obviously in an effort to rescue him for historical reasons. A simple “I can not confirm or deny...” will be sufficient since we all know those statements are only ever issued when the questions hit a little too close to home ;)

Andrew Carney

NONE of these items were snatched from the grasp of an ancient evil?!? Booo!! Also my wife and I thought the Halloween costume video was hilarious, but all of your videos are, so definitely mitigate creeps!

Neil Dutton

Thanks for the update! Hope you can find a solution that works because the few streams you did were so much fun.

Eric MacMillan

I still really want to! But my last attempt was a disaster and really put me off it, and I accidentally messed up a lot of the settings my sister tried to put in place for me when she was in town. I honestly feel like I need someone who knows what they're doing to help me in person but I don't know anyone local I can reach out to because none of my friends are gamers

Jenny Nicholson

awesome batman poster at the end there

Voidscribe

Happy 1st of Halloween! Looking forward to planned videos mentioned. Even voting had this-month related choices.

Dundough Breadbox

I like the flag holder for tsum tsums! You could always get a second one and have a nice square shaped design. I don't see how it could be controversial/disrespectful.

James Murphy

Sorry you got creeps on the Halloween costumes - I will say I watched it while doing something mindless at work and might have frightened coworkers with my laughing, so of course I'd love another but I get it if you don't want anyone creeping on you dressed as Plo Koon.

Eileen Nguyen

I thought the Reject Costumes video was hysterical, but yeah, people being gross and weird is a fair reason to be apprehensive about doing it again, and I believe you've previously said you also wanted to avoid setting up a situation where there's an expectation for you to do a particular video every year re: Reject Costumes. Both fair reasons to avoid it, if that's what you ended up deciding. The weirdest thing I own is probably candles I have of Lenin and Stalin's heads. I got them at the Museum of Communism in Prague [which, hilariously, is above a McDonald's]...they were just too weird not to buy.

The Doom Merchant

Can we get an update on if you plan on doing more twitch streaming?

Eric MacMillan

Thanks for the fun tour! :) I was going to ask about the practicalities of doing the Halloween costume video with a mannequin, but then you wouldn’t really know how they felt to wear, which is a big part of the review, so… maybe not… Also, I really hope you get around to doing a video about the Jeff-the-Killer sequel at some point, because the first one (video, not book) was incredible, and left the story on such a promising/confusing cliff-hanger!

Dee Crosier

9/11 Furby is like the perfect subject for the lead entry in a book of short stories beloved by The New York Times Book Review.

Daniel Anderson

I think that pod is begging to become a seasonal decoration, like how people fill apothecary jars as home decorations. Fall? Put some yellow and orange fake leaves in it. Halloween? Now there are spider webs on the pod. Snowy Christmas pod with a bow on it. Floral springtime pod. The possibilities are truly endless!

Mandy Vincent

watched the ramble went back to bed had a nightmare about the little whale in the box being full of bugs D:

Luis

The strangest thing I have is a shell casing from a WW2 Soviet 45mm anti-tank gun round. No idea where it was recovered, but an old friend was like "Do you want this?" and I'm like "Yeah, I guess..."

superb lobster

I have unreasonable respect for any faithful collector of books (probably because they offer me the illusion of alliance), so I cheered in excitement over the Stine-shelf! I wonder, though, whether there is a story explaining how volume 7 has found its home on it twice.

David Wilhelm Beckmann

So much cool stuff!! The 9/11 furby blew my mind and I'm glad the porgs have their own dedicated shelf now.

Luis

Never knew there were such a thing as Teddy Bear Hospitals until now

Blue Corn

Chris Gilroy

I can't believe I'm surprised that there's folks out there comfortable being a creepy about 'girl dressed as spaghetti' but it does feel like a new low for weird niche internet creeps. I did enjoy that video in a normal comedy way, but I understand why you would be uncomfortable with people being Like That
