Added 2019-08-22 04:37:07 +0000 UTCHere's a preview of the upcoming vid! I still think I'm on track for a before-D23-star-wars-panel release, and I'm expecting the final video to be roughly 18 minutes.
I s2g this looks less surface-of-the-sun in my editing preview window; I'm hoping a little more detail is restored when I render the final in 1080p (which I think I'm going to be able to do with videos now as I've got a new stronger computer!). Maybe it's the way youtube compresses it since the thumbnail has the same balance as the raw footage. Lmk if any of you are youtubers and have noticed this kind of discrepancy before or it's something in my render settings

The video quality really improved between the patreon preview and the final video wow!!! Also I'll be really upset if Rey doesn't use force lightning in Episode IX. Think of all the cool merch we'd get! Disney will have dropped the ball if this doesn't happen.

Umm... I liked the last two a lot so as long as it's passable I'm okay. Return of the Jedi wasn't my favorite of the original three but as a trilogly, it works well, I hope this is the same.

He hasn't had a chance to use them in the sequels but it was established in the Phantom Menace novelization and then in AotC that he has little rocket boosters so that he can save himself from falling off the many platforms without guardrailings that exist in Star Wars.

2019-08-22 16:05:21 +0000 UTCI mentioned this in the description above but this isn't what the raw footage actually looks like. I did a test export and it looks like exporting it as wmv gets rid of whatever encoding problem made it look this way
