Star Wars Land preview (#1)

(Get it? No stone unturned? Like the rocks in the part about...)

2019-08-22 21:14:23 +0000 UTCI happened to be in Anaheim for one day: Monday. We spent 17 hours in DisneyLand. The 3 hour line for Millennium falcon was intimidating, but our "Boarding Group" was in by 9am. We got to go on the ride twice over the course of the day with about a 30 minute wait. The whole Land was very impressive, the detail up to Disney par. So much so that after a couple hours, it felt normal to be on another planet. Honestly the only let down was not happening across a Jenny sighting. :-)

Coincidentally I was just reading an article yesterday but somebody talking about that idea of a “kinetic environment” with different modes of transportation always on the horizon. My most awestruck moment at the parks in Florida is always when I’m taking the boat from Fort Wilderness to the Magic Kingdom, the tip of castle is in the distance, and a monorail goes across the bridge overhead. So cool.
