There’s a rumor that Epcot tried to update Cranium Command to follow the POV of the urban explorer the day they stole (saved?) Buzzy. It was so meta they lost multiple audiences to insanity or suicide. It was the inspiration for Bird Box.

I was so tempted to just walk up to the pavilion when we were there. Not even sneak in just go up and peek inside. We got to go in a few years ago for food and wine and it was awesome! I expected there to be more security there since the Buzzy incident but it was still just a rope.

I’m an archivist and yes Disney is secretive about what they keep because they can’t keep everything. I don’t envy people the task of figuring out what to keep. Corporations are generally quite secretive about their archives. If I ever get to run the Disney archives (this is very unlikely) then I will attempt to change that.

I've started reading Porterhouse Blue, and even though the vampires haven't shown up yet, I'm still enjoying it. I like how Sharpe is introducing multiple heroes, like in A Confederacy of Dunces. I'm rooting for Skullion.

The Wonders of Life Pavilion is one of those things I remember going to as a kid and liking, but my family didn't always find ourselves there when we would visit Epcot because of all the craziness. So I ended up thinking that I made it up in my head that it ever existed, or that it was a dream that I thought was real. Doesn't help that my dad doesn't have the best memory so that when I would bring it up to him he wouldn't know what I was talking about.
