And I don’t really like or enjoy theme parks at all really? It’s just really cool to hear about things that people enjoy idk I just liked it a lot

When you started getting further down with the numbers, I imagined each movie coming out like "Avatar 9: The Merch" and I found that really funny. I really hope that someone watches your videos and names the movies exactly the way you organized this video.

Disney actually planned to release the park the same time as the films, it just turned out that the films kept getting delayed. I think Disney took a look at their plans and decided 1- they needed something new in the parks for 2017 (and possibly whenever the new date for the films was clashed with some other development they were planning) 2- that it would be more profitable to have two smaller waves of 'new park hype' and 'people who are excited after the sequels' and 3- that the park might help keep some mild memory of the universe alive as the original film slipped further and further into obscurity.

Fun fact: Pongu means "fart" in Korean. I was multitasking and came to a dead stop when I head the beverage stand was called Pongu Pongu. I was like "what?" And then it just meant party. Still, I giggled like a kid at the mention of the cast pongu.

I think Pandora was just built too early, maybe? It came out in a weird time well after the first movie and several years before any of the sequels. If/when those are a hit and are coming out every year or so because they are making like 6 of them at the same time it could look genius. Maybe they'll upgrade and add some stuff to the park if that's the case.

Honestly when you were talking about the theme park rights to Pokémon I just went into this other plane of being where I was imagining all the merch I’d want. I’m not even much of a merch person, but i was immediately like “ooh I’d definitely want a Team Rocket outfit. Oh but what about all the other evil teams? A Team Flare suit? A Team Magma hoodie?? How much stuff would there be themed around specific Pokémon, outside of obvious ones like Pikachu and Eevee? Could I get a Togepi print shirt? Empoleon-themed formal wear? Shit and I’d totally buy Gym Badges as collectibles if they were available” Being a Kiwi, a lot of merchandise doesn’t make it to where I live, even if the property is super popular. It was a weird out-of-body moment imagining the awe I’d feel seeing all that stuff in one place, instead of seeing crappy versions of it online with no guarantee that they’ll be anywhere near what you want.

I remember during College Program, Animal Kingdom assignments were always the dread of everyone... It was the hardest to get to and had the weirdest hours. I still dig the petting zoo though. Those goats are dope.

Yeah, also the way the restraint is a pad that tightens across your lower back means anyone with back pain might have a bad time riding it even though its motion is gentle. I don't think I can recommend it to my mom on our next family trip out which is a shame because she loves Soarin

I'm not really a theme park person, as someone who doesn't do crowds or Weather™, but your enthusiasm alone would make any theme park experience worth the suffering. I've never been to a Disney park or Universal Studios as an adult, so my only memories of them are mostly lost to time; to see them through the eyes of someone who really loves them is very cool. Anyway; hysterical AND informative. 10/10 Lifeless Avatar Bodies Bungee-Strapped to a Dragon.

Warning to larger patrons who want to ride Flight of Passage. I’m a larger guy (around 275 pounds) and when I went to go on the ride I didn’t fit the seat. Now I did not have any issues with any of the other rides at Disney World just Flight Of Passage. It seems the main issue was my rather large thighs.

I always thought that Na'vi River Journey felt more like an "Imagineering tech demo." Like it had a lot of really cool elements that could be used in another dark ride and expanded upon for an Imagineer to make a much better dark ride out of. I dunno, I don't hate the ride, but I also didn't even bother to ride it when I was there the other night and there was absolutely zero line for it, so....
