Even in the comic books, it was a rare treat for Sabrina to make a guest appearance in any Riverdale story, and vice-versa, but they were definitely in a shared universe.

For some reason I specifically remember a Halloween episode of Roseanne, where the dad plays a prank on the kids by pretending to get his hand stuck in the garbage disposal and spraying fake blood everywhere.

I was almost wanting the kids to get killed in the beginning when they were moving in (what jerks!), but they stopped throwing out one-liners and the feeling passed.
