The Applejack Problem - preview
Added 2017-12-26 07:45:17 +0000 UTCThis video is a HOT MESS, I recorded it while sick the day before I knew I was leaving town, so it features such problems as:
- Horrible congestion
- Me literally getting tired and taking a nap about halfway through recording, so at one point after a cut the sun has changed position and is shining directly into my blinds
- (This is the worst one.) My electric blanket being on under my quilt, with the laptop my sound was routing through resting on it, producing a crackling noise. I'm a huge sound purist so this really bothers me but isn't really fixable in post.
To be honest I kind of debated whether to go forward with editing this at all or whether I should just throw it out, because the premise is odd, and the raw footage I had was in my opinion so poor. But since I've already lost a week of time by being out of town, with this the only thing on-hand to edit, I sort of figured a video is better than no video.
At this point it's mostly edited so I'll probably release it? But anyway, hopefully this will tide you guys over until I fly home in two days - at which point I'll be shooting a ramble to post up.
Edit to add: My next two planned videos are The Top 10 Worst Reasons You Hated The Last Jedi (somebody on twitter guessed this correctly), and tentatively a Rey and Kylo skit.

One is an outgoing jock stereotype (but like a magic jock or something) and the other will be his best friend who is super broody. They're both super ineffectual and all the conflict they cause is purely accidental; until the hour-long musical season finale where they summon some great evil during their first song (they get two songs one dubstepy and the other vaguely early nineties pseudo-indie).
