Ahh I remember when second-grade me would judge his friends (and allocate time spent at their houses) based on the quality and quantity of Star Wars toys they had. I had the Millennium Falcon, the Death Star playset with the bad monster, Landspeeder, X-wing and about three dozen action figures (both large and small) ... so I could afford to be selective. In retrospect I was kind of a rotten little shit.

That is ingenious and sounds like a ton of work but it sounded like the real thing so job well done! Did Bailey do Kylos voice?

I loaded them onto my phone, did another take where I held the phone in the place where I'd been holding the toy. Played the audio files with my hand over the speaker so it would have the muffled action figure quality and edited the tracks together. (I just knew what the lines were to try to get the length of my "listening to audio" pauses right in the ones where it's a single take) My friend did Kylo Ren and did a great job.
