The next complete history and a few fairly large updates!

Hello Patreon Peeps,

Hope you are all doing well, firstly a big thanks for all the support recently on the Crash Bandicoot video. its been easily one of my most popular in quite sometime.

What's coming up next for the channel? well, I have 2x small unboxing videos, Data Discs latest Altered Beast release and the Super Castlevania IV from Mondo release coming up (likely to see both of those this weekend)

After that the next complete History is "Nights: The Complete History" It's one I wanted to do for a long time and now I have found some great developer interviews I am finally able to do the series justice.

After that, well, I have plenty of other bits in the pipeline, nothing really worth officially announcing as they are all in their earliest possible phase. #WatchThisSpace

O yes, and Larry's next Fact Hunt video was fully edited by me (other than the intro)

However, I do have some other exciting news that the majority of you will not know about unless you are active on the Discord channel (which by the way I highly recommend that you are CLICK HERE TO JOIN IN)

As you all know I am a big fan of music and for quite some time have been building up a fairly large video game soundtrack collection on vinyl. Well, I have decided to start my own label!

Originally I wanted to give it a very obvious "Slope Records" sort of name but then realized that would be stupid hahaha, I very much want this "company" to stand on its own 2x feet.

Do I have my 1st release lined up?.... mmmmm sort of! I have been in chats with the developer of a small indie game with a THUMPING OST and we have been working out pricing, test runs, licencing etc. I can't say what the release is yet as no contract has been signed and no money has been handed over, but when the time is right I will aim to let you guys know.

The plan for the label is to release game soundtracks no matter how old or how new they are. If the soundtrack is good and can be mastered correctly for Vinyl then I am all about it and will try my best to get it released.

So far, there is a twitter page set up, the company has been fully registered as a limited company and... not much else. Still, its a very exciting time for me (a bit of a lifetime dream tbh)

There is one more thing I wanted to talk to you about... SGR Does Disney Video Games! It's coming back IN A BIG WAY!

This was always a bit of a passion project for me and although it looked good back in the day on my channel. now its easily my cringiest content. Plus on top of that, it sort of had 1 big issue... the collaborations.

The problem is that even though I enjoy watching all of the YouTubers that where originally lined up  to be part of this MEGA LIST, they are all VERY different.

For instance I would have 1 very professional mini history piece based on a movie sent in by 1 YouTuber and the very next video would be a loud screaming angry YouTuber making fart jokes and drooping F bombs whilst not really talking about the history of the film. As much as I like both of these Tubers content it was crazy jarring for the playlist and ultimately didn't work.

Now one of my favorite videos from the playlist was one that was NEVER RELEASED based on Aladdin (here it is, just for you) In case you don't know The Rotoscopers are a podcast that sort of make complete history type episodes based on classic animated movies (mainly Disney and Pixar) These guys have offered to record the history of the movie whilst I end the video looking at every single game related to the movie.

These episodes are for the most part going to be smaller midweek episodes and will not take away from my main weekend videos (I might make exceptions for the big releases like Aladdin, Lion King etc but we are a long way away from those yet)

We plan to release them every 2 weeks and they will be appearing on both of our channels the same way that Larry Bundy and Myself currently share the odd video.

I fell like this is going to the best way to finally make the most of what I think is a kick ass idea and with the help of The Rotoscopers editing team it shouldn't take too much time and will ultimately let me focus more on those more hardcore videos (in fact the first few videos will slightly be recycled for the new playlist)

Wow, talk about a big update. If you have have not yet asked your Q for me to A for the Q&A then please do so by following this link.

And right now... I am off to continue collecting assets for the Nights video. Again, please join in with the DISCORD chat. we have loads of people signed up but not too many people chatting lol let's change that!

Thanks for another amazing month of support. As usual I will update yo all when I have decent stuff to show, but until then...

Mucho Love

Wow. So much news. I recall started watching your channel mostly for the Disney reviews. Not that I'm into Disney much or ever played the games, but I really dug your style. Think I marathoned your back-catalogue over a weekend.
