Patch Notes Preview

Evening all, figured I'd drop in with an update now that we're less than a week away from the release of the Overseer's Edition! I'm glad to say that all of my code changes are in and all of my bonus content editing is complete, and things are looking good for an on-schedule release! Since the next release is a paid one and the major changes are locked in I thought I'd post up the patch notes early for this one, to give folks an idea of what will be in it. Perhaps an important thing to note is that I've swapped over the project info to my recently formed legit company, Figura Games, which means that save files from Patreon versions of the game will need to be manually moved over. I may rename this project page at some point but probably not until I'm ready to turn this into a multi-game patreon.

One main area I did spend some time on was with citizen recruits. If you ever got tired of 'rerolling' citizen encounters until you got one you were looking for, there are now options to make that much more efficient. I also did a bit of a redesign of the recruits screen, partially as an experiment into mixing text and graphics which may serve me in the future.

Aside from finishing up work on Carnal Coup I've also been working on design ideas for the sequel and even started on a bit of code work, and I'm feeling pretty close to being able to talk about what I have in mind for that. However, as I'm planning to spend the weekend ensuring the launch goes smoothly, you can expect to see the next State of the Game post where I'll go into all of that sometime next week. I will say that I'm planning quite a few changes...
