Miraculous season 6 prediction

First of all, an update on upcoming videos...
I am currently working on edits for Spuffy/Bangel comic dubs. You'll be getting uploaded parts along the way in the $1 tier. Meanwhile, I think I'll start rewatching and marking Miraculous season 3 so I can start editing that video next.

Now for my prediction for season 6...

(I have not seen any spoilers, but if you're not up to date and don't want season 5 spoilers, go watch all of Miraculous, and come back ;) Trust me, you'll love it!)

I love Adrienette and they are so cute and obviously meant for each other, but we've got at least a couple seasons left to go, and they clearly need to explore some more of the love square before the official reveal. So Adrien and Marinette need to break up, and Ladybug and Cat Noir need to start dating. We neeeeeed some Ladynoir!

I have thought about this for literally 5 minutes, so don't expect some super in-depth analysis, but there ARE some pretty intense reasons for why this could happen. Marinette knows two MASSIVE secrets about Adrien that she is keeping to herself going into season 6 - 1, his dad was Hawkmoth, and 2, he's actually a sentimonster. If Adrien finds out either of these facts, or even if Marinette eventually tells him, he's going to have a pretty insane reaction. Even before he finds out, it's likely to cause some tension and distance between the two. BUT, remember we need Ladynoir to get together after a breakup - if Adrien finds out his dad was Hawkmoth, he's likely to feel more betrayed by Ladybug than Marinette, and if he finds out he's a sentimonster and totally shuts down, Cat Noir would also be shut down and not exactly open to another girlfriend.

Another scenario is Adrien eventually feels left out and left behind as all his peers, including Marinette, are taking full advantage of all the new and endless possibilities in their new high school, whereas Adrien will likely feel aimless and unmotivated now that he possesses his own amok, and his father is not around to force him into all the activities and decisions. Then again it could also mean he's finally free to explore and discover himself (I like that scenario more) and in any case it's probably not going to lead to a break up.

What I think is going to happen (though it's a bit cliche and redundant) is Adrien and Marinette are going to have a hard time keeping their identities secret, always rushing off to save the day at the same moment. Basically the same scenario as Marinette and Luka, except it's both of them being weird and making up crazy excuses. The pressure and the guilt of lying will get to them both, and they'll eventually consider (either before or after they throw in the towel on this relationship) that it would be so much easier to date someone who understands the superhero life. The feelings are already there, they would both think they're moving on to a different relationship that makes more sense. They would both conclude that they're just not meant to date in their civilian lives.

Ohhh I just thought of another scenario that would be super interesting... Lila, being far more intelligent than Gabriel, and the new holder of the butterfly miraculous, would notice that Ladybug and Cat Noir are showing some preferential treatment to Adrien and Marinette, respectively (making sure the other gets to safety, showing special attention, etc). She starts leveraging this information and disproportionately puts them in danger or even kidnaps one of them, and one or both of them decides it is too dangerous to date. At least if they date as superheroes (and it's known to the public), they're still a team and fighting together, and less vulnerable than a seemingly powerless civilian.

Anyway, I'd love to see this new relationship develop because 1, I'm a Ladynoir stan, but also it opens up some more hilarious opportunities for new dynamics in Marichat and Ladrien (think slipups, weird cryptic conversations, and unconscious PDA, oh the possibilities are endless!)
