Something I think about frequently is posting videos on Youtube: I have an account that I've been posting on infrequently since high school. I had some videos that did decently well, mostly my sketchbook tours. It is also where I shared all my short animations from college.
If I were making videos today, I would want to share my process of making webcomics, answer questions, do a weekly vlog of my routine, and other art/comic related content.
I'm always intimidated by the idea of posting freuqently, and also of filming myself. I have a lot of anxiety with being on camera, but I've made a lot of progress with working through it (another topic I could film a video about)
Lastly, I am protective of myself and my public image. I am very sensitive with a strong personality, and I am also queer/nonbinary. I also draw porn for a living haha. I think I would be torn to shreds online!
But, I also have so much advice and experience that I want to share. I know there are many people who could benefit from me sharing my art wisdom online, and who would also be inspired to express themselves as freely as I do. I think I would inspire other people to start posting their own comics, and that thought makes me so excited and happy!! While the idea of posting youtube videos sounds so overwhelming, I also think I would regret it if I did not give it a serious try, or at least share a few videos.
If I were to make youtube videos, what topics would you be interested in seeing me cover?
