Personal Life and Schedules are a mess atm. Looking for other reward ideas for tiers $5 and $10. Come on in!
Added 2020-09-01 05:33:27 +0000 UTCLong story short, I wanted to take a bit of a break again so I could work on commissions an not worry about editing videos for a little bit. The YouTube channel for whatever reason had went from an average of about 9K subs per month to about...400 and dropping. Might hit negatives. Views are still kind of the same for now, but there has been no reasons given to me for this and many viewers are now claiming they haven't seen a single upload this year (or since my last break). One even tried to call me out for taking too many hiatuses every time something stressful came up, despite this being my second ever in my career :'D So something is up and it's concerning. Now my floors have an issue where they were collecting moisture from a leaking AC unit. So they've been ripped out and fans have been laid out everywhere to dry the concrete underneath. Music gear is everywhere and there is just too much noise, so working is now an issue unless I leave for awhile.
I'm only stating the above because obviously this means I either abandon the Patreon now or I keep going and try to provide as much as I can. I'll still send song samples and mention plans when I have them, so tiers $1 to $3 are fine. However I'd like to give more to $5 and $10 if possible. I have asked for ideas in the past, but since there are always people coming and going, I figured I'd ask again. What rewards would you like to see?

This is totally showing my bias as a super-new beginner guitar player (started this April!), but I'd love to see just rock-steady videos (from a cinematography perspective) of you playing through some of your songs. With a focus on your hands, so I can see what it is you're actually doing. No flashy jump cuts, no artistic camera angles, no dramatic lighting, etc. Just an unmoving camera with a clear view of your hands as you play your stuff. To be clear, this would be totally separate from your popular-interest videos! Those are just great and the fancy cinematography serves its intended purpose there: making them more visually interesting and appealing to a wide audience! What I'm proposing would be intended help people like me who are really trying to learn guitar see what your hands actually look like playing these pieces. And I'm focused on the guitar because that's how I'm spending all my time here in quarantine, but hey, that's not the only thing you play! Make one for the keys too, if you feel like it! I'm sure someone would benefit from that even if I wouldn't personally! I will freely admit that this is very focused on my personal immediate interests. But I've also learned that it's relatively rare for me to be the ONLY person interested in a given topic, so maybe there's other folks who'd be interested in seeing a semi-instructional "here's what it ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE to play these pieces" video/series.
