Plans for this Week

For this week, I finally finished another Rock/Metal song like "Here I Come" and "Lost in Time"! It's not related to the two as it was done for a commission, but it was an insanely fun one to make (I'm actually in the process of making ANOTHER for the same person and it's a lot heavier). I will have is mixed and mastered by sixteen in mono if all goes well and I'll have a download for you this week! There may be tabs for it as well coming.

Other than that, I still have some idea involving reviews, more originals, etc. Got some more wacky challenge stuff. I figured trying out individual programs for making songs would be a neat challenge, as well as using soundfonts from games (like making my own animal crossing song?). I want to see if I can make songs in things that aren't fully MEANT for making songs. Like Mario Maker (which I mean...it kind of IS meant for making songs to a degree, but you know what I mean), Animal Crossing, Minecraft (I'm not a fan of the game, but I hear there are music blocks?), etc.

Hope you look forward to whatever happens :')

Glad I could help out a little. I used to play minecraft lots many years ago. By now it has changed so much I barely recognize it. But when it comes to old school minecraft I can tell you quite a lot. If you want I could search for some old noteblock songs and link them to you through Discord. Along with explaining a little more about redstone in regards to the kind of limitations for rhythm and chords one would have when making anything musical in game.

Noted! Thank you very much :) I know pretty much nothing about the game, so some research is definitely necessary before I attempt anything. Your insight on it helps me out a lot. Gonna have to look up what all of this is about then :'D

That sounds great! Though I wonder how you'd do the music blocks in minecraft. As in... Unless you want to make it super difficult for yourself. You probably want to export the sounds and use them in a music program. Minecraft changed a lot since I last played it. But making full on songs from music blocks probably didn't get any easier. I would recommend you look up some old noteblock songs made in the game using red stone. Not just for inspiration, but also to see what the limitations were for the speed at which notes were played. If you want to make something that sounds like it could have been done in the game that is.

Oh yes ☺️

OH HECK YES definitely looking forward to all these unconventionally made tunes 😍
