IMPORTANT Update: Today's Video is delayed. Not doing well. I need a serious break
Added 2020-03-07 12:21:15 +0000 UTCHey, everyone. So you may or may not have noticed, but I've been pretty invisible here lately, not being able to state plans for the future or anything like that. I've been alluding to it for awhile, but I am incredibly burnt out. This whole "make a whole song and video" a week thing is ridiculous. I hate to admit it, but I had a legitimate mental breakdown tonight while trying to get the song for today to sound good. I mixed it for hours and hours (almost 8). I tried making some of kind of back up song over this week and I couldn't. I just want to take a break and make commissions, but I need to upload to youtube to keep the channel healthy and actually make a living. Youtube might be a smaller source of revenue out of all my options, but patreon is the biggest.
Anyways, I'm honestly not sure what to do. I wanted to take a 2 week break after this video, but seeing as I couldnt even do this video, I'm not sure the 2 weeks can be an option for me anymore. Unless I disappear for a whole month, but thats also trouble. I'm truly sorry if this breaks any professionalism, but I have no idea what to do right now and I'm sincerely sorry to all of you. You've all gone out of your way to support me financially and I can't even keep you all up to date at the moment. You truly are the kindest people.
So yeah. I might delay the song till Sunday or Wednesday. But I honestly do not want to hear it right now. And I know if I delay it till Wednesday, it would mean not taking a full 2 weeks off. So who knows. My apologies again, everyone.

I can't speak to the business side of it, but we fans are here because we enjoy your content, and that includes you. Like everyone else has said, it's more important that you take care of yourself so you can "continue to make it a full-time job in the future". And if you decide you need to step away completely, then so be it. Trust yourself to do the right thing for you.

Financially, I know it's a tough decision, but take the time. I personally would not mind it a bit if I continued to give you what I do. It's honestly just a paltry sum compared to what you give us. Take care of yourself, and we'll be here when you get back.

I know I personally don't mind to keep supporting you whilst you don't make anything. I much rather you take care of yourself. And I'm sure there are a lot of people here that feel the same way. Perhaps that puts your mind at ease enough to allow yourself that break. Because you seem to have really need one for a long while now.

You aren’t being irresponsible by taking a break! I’d much rather wait a month if that’s what it takes to get you back in gear than lose you forever, and I can’t imagine I’m the only one who feels that way. Do what’s right for your own mental well-being!
