This reminds me of the stories I heard about the “little people” when I was in Alaska. If you upset them, they would steal you in the night. One guy said his friend met one when he was trapped under his flipped snowmobile after hunting, and the little person freed the hunter and flipped the snowmobile upright. He took one of the two caribou as a payment and disappeared.
