Well, this episode probably should have a content not since it doesn‘t hold back with Calebs backstory. It asks the viewer how much responsibilty they would place on the shoulders of someone who did this and if that person can be redeemed. So what do you think, on one hand, Caleb needs to do to see himself as redeemable and heal, and, on the other hand, what would you think he should have to do to redeem himself and if there is a difference, why?

And 2) how does learning this change your view of Caleb (if it does) and do you think they represented this kind of breakdown well? (Aka I just want a psych eval rant from yall on Caleb)

Towards the end of the episode, Caleb sets the tree Owelia is trapped against ablaze as we cut back and forth between seeing the trauma of his past and him breaking down in the present. When Caleb sends one final blast burning the tree and definitively killing Owelia, he is falling apart emotionally. After all of the grooming at Trent's hands, and the psychological torture he has been put through, how responsible is Caleb for his past actions? After killing his parents (and beloved pet), is he too far gone to be redeemed?
