The "arrows" on Thorfinns old dagger are actually Norse runes. It's the rune called "tiwaz" which represents Tyr, Masculinity, Justice, Leadership, Logic and Battle. It's also the rune for the letter "T". The fact it was on a dagger originally belonging to Thors it's likely "TT" for "Thors the Troll".

Really emblematic of the shows message of how becoming empty and hitting rock bottom can be a powerful transformational tool if you let it.

Everyone who was disappointed with S2 clearly doesnt get the point of Vinland Saga. The Author is a pacifist and it becomes clear in this season. His intentions and ideology is laid plain right here and i cant but wholeheartedly agree with him. Sure S1 had great fights and all but this season is where it gets deep into fundamentals of humanity
