Oh and Vaggie was never human. Adam seems to have ascended to be an archangel, but Lute, Vaggie, and the other Exorcists were born in Heaven, and seemingly created for Adam's army. Like a Clone Trooper. At least, as far as we know. But Vaggie is the only name she has.
