2025-12-07 21:04:02 +0000 UTCThe "problem" with All Might is he was a symbol. He wasnt a person. Very few people really knew All Might. Its very easy to envision a symbol never losing. But when you are friends and live with and know someone you cant view yhem as a symbol. Theyre a person. And people can lose.

All Might was the kind of hero who once he came in, everyone from the heroes to civilians were basically able to say "alright, we're good, everything's going to be okay. He's got it". Deku is the type that inspires others to action, so Kaminari saying he doesn't have faith in him to me is also a way of him facing the decision of acting & fighting or running away.

2025-11-29 21:17:59 +0000 UTCKenny, you also gotta realize we're watching this as viewers of a show where we can feel confident the plot will have deku win, so it's easier to be like "hell yeah, he's got this!" From that perspective. For kaminari, he's living in this world. All might, until his final fight with A4O, NEVER lost or failed to save people when he got on the scene. Like Montana said, there's a difference between that and personally knowing deku. While his abilities are truly insane, he's also watched his friend lose, get seriously hurt, almost to the point of losing use of his arms, full body cast etc. So I think a good portion of it is just insane amount of being worried for his friend, on top of shig is on another level of literal world ending threat. So, for you, it may come off weird he doesn't have total faith in deku...but when you consider the entirety of what has happened to them, it's not that crazy of a thought process really
