She did, but she's a bit uncertain about her feelings. Clearly she's not ready for a relationship so ofc she rejects Scanlan. That's why she tries her best to reassure Scanlan it's fine, but ofc he doesn't hear that part, he's in self-loathing mode right now.

2025-09-28 21:13:37 +0000 UTCNgl, Pike really irked me this episode with that, "not what I meant" crap. SHE LEANED IN. I saw it, you saw, we all saw it. π€

2025-09-23 04:04:40 +0000 UTCNot explained in the series since they cut out Tiberius completely, he was the dragonborn on VM before the actor became unreliable and fell into addiction, but there are two types of Dragonborn in Exandria. The ones with the tails are known as Draconian and are closer to dragons in lineage, they are also the members of high society. While the tailless are known as Ravenites. were enslaved for some time before the Conclave attacked the city. It was one of the first to fall because the Dragonborn were actually monitoring the dragons activity before they took over Tal'dorei. There was a touching moment we got when the crew had arrived in Draconia, we see that the dragonborn known as Tiberius Stormwind, as well as many others. were frozen and died in battle trying to fell the dragon. Most people didnt like Ocaba but the insufferability of TIberius could be endearing at times, so it was nice to see the character get a proper send off

2025-09-23 01:41:57 +0000 UTCObviously dragons don't have classes, but if they did, Umbrasyl would be the rogue and Vorugal would be the barbarian for sure.

2025-09-22 22:51:38 +0000 UTCUmbrasyl, the acid dragon, was a savvier opponent -- switching between breath weapon, physical attacks, spell-like abilities, and even using Mythcarver depending on the situation. It's what made him so difficult to defeat. Vorugal is like the gym-bro of the bunch. He brute forces his way through his battles, relishing on his physicality and breath weapon.

2025-09-22 21:50:25 +0000 UTCThere's a pretty cool Easter egg/inside joke early in the episode. The animation studio for this show is Titmouse, Inc. The bird that did the number 2 on Percy is a pretty spot-on tufted titmouse, a grey bird with a tufted crest on it head, the bird the studio takes its name from.

2025-09-22 21:34:45 +0000 UTCI'll admit I'm not a Critter like others, but even I've seen that clip and animations of it. π€£

2025-09-22 21:26:36 +0000 UTCHonestly I'd pay to see Kenny and Montana react to the table version of the Percy-Vex scene, it's just such a legendary moment lol
StorytellerDave
2025-09-22 20:30:33 +0000 UTCAlso, speaking of Keyleth's voice actor and Matt's wife Marisha, Kenny and Montana had pretty much the exact same reaction as she did in the original stream. "It's a power play, I love it." ππ

2025-09-22 16:23:36 +0000 UTCDragonborns are, in the Lore (not Critical Role but D&D in general), a species born from Dragon Egg eons ago, being shaped to combine both world of the humanoΓ―d and draconic might. But nowadays they are born from dragonborn couples laying eggs, making their population more and more distant from dragons. Like normal dragons, they are three type of Dragonborn : - Chromatic which comes indirectly from Tiamat, the evil gods of dragons. - Metallic which comes from Bahamut, the good gods of dragons. - Gem which comes from Sardior, a more neutral gods of dragons. Of course, a red dragonborn is not evil by nature, neither a gold one good, the humanoΓ―d part in them is what separate them from the "natural" trait dragons are (since almost all chromatic dragons are evil and vice versa). As for history : dragonborn were made to serve dragons, some by their free will since they were shaped for this, but for a long time they were enslaved by Tiamat.

2025-09-22 15:54:36 +0000 UTCWdym season two? If anything, this scene with Percy/Vex and Vax/Keyleth reminded me more of Arcane season one, with that scene with Jayce, Mel, and Viktor. π€£

2025-09-22 14:44:05 +0000 UTC"Their Sokka/Zuko moment." Lol, it's worse than that, Kenny. It's like if Sokka had been in Azula's tent and Zuko saw. π€£π€£ Or, Zuko in Katara's.

2025-09-22 14:38:40 +0000 UTCHonestly, I see where Dohla's coming from this episode; Allura and Kima seem like crap friends. Also, about what class she is, given she mainly used elemental magic ,my guess is Dohla's a druid like Keyleth.
HBelmont 24
2025-09-22 14:31:59 +0000 UTCDohla's an interesting character from a meta perspective. Her character arc is vastly different in the campaign, and was turned from an ally to a traitor. Many compare her to a (slightly problematic) cast member who left Critical Role after the start of the Briarwood Arc and whose character subsequently doesn't appear in this version of the story. She even has the same colour scheme of his character in the show. Some see Dohla's bitterness towards Allura and Kima as a representation for this cast member's bitterness towards Critical Role flourishing without him, which doesn't sit well for me personally if true.

2025-09-22 14:09:37 +0000 UTCThis episode is CRAZY in the romance department. π€£ One thing I particularly love is that Percy didn't even ATTEMPT to deny his feelings for Vex when Cassandra called him out for it. If there's anyone who can see through your romantic BS, it's siblings. π
