Also: It doesn't get explained in the anime only in the Manga so I'll explain Chrollo's conditions or risks he has to take to steal an ability. 1. He has to see the ability 2. He must ask about the ability AND the question must be answered 3. The victim has to touch the hand on Chrollo's book 4. All of those rules have to be cleared in under 1 hour If the original dies Chrollo will also lose the ability except under certain circumstances but that would be a spoiler.
