We see a LOT of new mages in this episode alone, from the first-class mage proctors to the other test-takers. Are there any that immediately stick out to you that you want to learn about?

The anime pronunciation is correct for the most part but struggles here and there and the English phonetic translation you provided twists it even more. English doesn't really have a way to describe the German e (or ü or ch). For example Lawine, Kanne and Methode end the same way but you described them three different ways, lol The German a seems to be a struggle too

2025-02-12 18:38:19 +0000 UTCAs a German it's always funny to see how people try to sound out the pronunciation in English It just seems so counterintuitive to see it spelt that way lol

2025-02-11 18:32:40 +0000 UTCI mean, I also didn't mention Scharf (sharf) and Ehre (airy) from Wirbel's team because, again, they're kind of just there.

2025-02-11 17:32:09 +0000 UTCHow do you think Frieren and Fern will fare in these exams? What do you expect the power level of other top mages to be compared to Fern and Frieren?

2025-02-11 16:57:18 +0000 UTCTo add to this, I'll also list the meaning of their names: - Übel - Bad - Land - Land, ground or country - Wirbel - Whirl like whirlwind or whirlpool, vortex fits too - Denken - Thinking - Laufen - Run - Richter - Judge, but likely a reference to the 'Richter scale' - Methode - Method or technique - Lawine - Avalanche - Kanne - Pot, like a teapot - Sense - Scythe - Genau (Ghen-Ow) - Precisely, exactly - you missed him, young guy with brown hair, also a proctor alongside Sense

2025-02-11 16:35:53 +0000 UTCWhat are your thoughts on the two mages Frieren's paired with for the exam, Kanne and Lawine? Given their . . . testy dynamic, do you think they will be able to pass?
