2025-03-23 00:19:13 +0000 UTCI think in the last minute you mentioned that it might be the oldest manga from like 1990s i just wanted to point out that the manga is still not finished because the author has health issues and is writing pretty slow, thats why you have a 1990s version of the anime as well and the 2014 version, because the 2014 version contains another 70 episodes. So there is actually a good possibility that the anime will continue

The story writes around it and more than anything it's one of those "cool to know but not actually important to the story" things that people who are already extremely invested go back and watch with context and then convince themselves it was important. Also my personal opinion on the episode is it's just bad but that's a whole other thing.

Doing that to someone you just met especially someone older is incredibly rude and just a very mean thing to do. So leorio being so upset especially when he keeps doing it despite leorio saying to stop makes more sense

My first time watching HxH was over the summer and I loved the old school anime / Pokemon vibe I got from it, gave me nostalgia from the first episode and quickly became one of my favorite anime. Also the ending ops are always amazing, hope you get to listen to it at some point too

The mere fact that we tell tehm to watch episode of the 99 version is kinda spoilery to how important it is. if it was natural in the 2011 version i would have liked it more but it isnt. Watching many reactions on it i would say either watch it when it gets relevant or dont watch it at all. Doing it now is more confusing than helpful
