Sad to see this series go ngl. It's really one of my favorite aspects of this channel. Here's to hoping you watch more shows that I'm familiar with. Until then, I love this show. All Might is goated, Toga is tragic, Toya and Tomura deserve better, Deku is awesome, Endeavor is garbage, the rest of the Todoroki family is awesome, and Bakugo will hopefully return.

I subscribed to the Patreon because I couldn't take the wait on YouTube anymore. I had to see your reaction to this episode and it did not disappoint. Seeing Kenny get teary-eyed with excitement for All Might warmed my heart, and made me feel less weird for how much I cry over this show. (I still cry an obscene amount, like, Deku level, but that's beside the point). Seeing All Might in action again, facing insurmountable odds, with his death prophecy looming over him, but STILL smiling while being inspired by his students and goading his greatest enemy???? I cried tears of joy too. All Might is such a bad ass and really is the Symbol of Peace, both for the MHA world and us as the viewers.

AOT for me isn't even in top 50 anymore. It lost all of my love when the timeskip happened and everything after the timeskip. It is quite a failure in my eyes but I get why people like the anime. I have seen hundreds more anime than you guys so at this point I have anime I have in my top 10 that just blows away AOT in every way possible. MHA stays in my top 20 though because of the impact it has had on me. In terms of emotional attachment I would have MHA in my top 3. AOT really just lost me in its entirety after season 3 and how things went in the manga. I don't care at all about it anymore tbh

I think her character arc is DEF interesting by the end, its just sometimes hard to see throughout because her mask is SO solid. Often I feel just like Uraraka did throughout the series. Pretty resentful for a lot of it, but once it all clicked into place this was just someone who was failed by society, her parents, really everyone. Def wish she could have somehow found a better place in society, quite the tragic story

Seriously her parents are the biggest failures of all time. Like, yes, her quirk led to her blood obsession and desire to drink people's blood BUT there's absolutely no reason that couldn't have been handled by her family (and a therapist) in a way better than "lol no blood for you!" Allow her to try her quirk out with your (her parents) blood. Explain that she cannot take people's blood without permission but maybe if she trusts someone enough she can ask them to try it. Just an absolute failure of parenting from them that was by far the most preventable villain backstory. Like, yeah, Endeavor could've been a decent father and both Nana Shimura and her son could've done things differently to prevent Shigaraki from happening, but I understand the reason WHY Endeavor and the Shimuras sucked as parents. I cannot fathom treating your child the way Toga's parents did.

The tragedy of the Toga storyline is she had terrible parents who never tried to understand/love her. If they did she would have become the greatest medical hero of all time. Instead the first person to try and understand her was Ururaka, but it was too late. Toga died happy knowing at least one person liked her for her so she gladly sacrificed her life to save Ururaka.

TBH I wish yall had empathized more with Togas story through the series- it’s hard to connect with at first, with her standard ‘crazy girl who loves mc’ vibe, but that’s clearly an intentional writing decision to subvert that trope. Ochaco proclaiming she loves Deku last episode was a great admission from her, but it was a little bittersweet to see that be the thing you most reacted to, as to be honest Deku is so far removed from these girls stories. Both of their crushes on Deku aren’t at all the main drive of their narrative. I’m glad you guys have become more invested in her character. Chapter 395 is my favorite chapter in the manga, and is the scene at the beginning of the episode. Toga’s ending monologue is so incredible. Her parallels to queer people, neurodivergent people, and intrusive thoughts are fucking phenomenal and I wish that everyone was able to see that amazing representation she provides. I didn’t really care much about Toga at the beginning of the show- she just kind of was another villain. But then- that’s sort of the whole thing isn’t it? Everyone’s just so criminal until they aren’t. By the end, I find her to be one of the most genuine, incredibly written, and powerful characters in the whole show. Just a normal girl, with the cutest smile in the world.

Honestly, Imagine what Himiko could have done if she was accepted. She could ahve been the ultimate blood donor, helping people with rare bloodtypes or in desperate emergency situations. She could ahve been an actress, no need for Makeup, she can play any role. She could ahve been a hero, her quirk would absolutely have worked for that. She really was the person with the most potential for a different outcome, especially given that she was still so young, like, she is Ochakos and Dekus age, 16. She neevr even made it out of puberty.

And with that you are caught up with MHA to this point. As I said, most of Class 1-A had a kickass moment at some point. However, those that didn't really were regulated to the background. Yaoyorozu in particular spent 85% of Season 7 just in the Engine Room of The Coffin, and I don't know how to feel about that considering she made an attempt to stop Machia last season. Personal feelings about that aside, we got a solid, if not tragic, ending to Himiko Toga's story. In addition, we get All Might channeling his inner Iron Man/Batman taking on AFO with the sole purpose of stalling for time. So in conclusion, we honestly should expect news about the final season sometime after the Vigilantes spinoff. My hope is because there is only about 10-12 episodes worth of content from the manga left it means we only have to wait til summer instead of fall. We shall ultimately see.

I am really excited for that. From what I have seen online a lot of people like it about as much as MHA. I was going to get the manga, but when I saw they were adapting it I guess I do not need to. Although I hope they do not go the route of "Promised Neverland" Season 2. Aka speeding through 10 volumes in 40 minutes. I am concerned as I have read that Anime is made to sell Manga as that is where the money is made. So a Manga that is already finished does not have much potential to make more. But hopefully not.

With all the really good parallels between All Might and Deku this episode, one that I feel often goes under the radar is how All Might calling AFO out on always starting with a powerful long range attack is just like Deku pointing out that Bakugo always starts with a right swing in their very first fight. Also, one thing I like about having the first movie be canon and making specifically Melissa be the one to make this new suit is that there's a precedent for building tech that can stand up to OFA and AFO. If she can build a bracer that can take a few 100% Smashes from OFA, I can totally buy that she could make a suit that can hang with AFO for a bit.

I always had a slight bone to pick with the story introducing deku as quirkless and being like "it's IMPOSSIBLE to be a hero without a quirk..will this kid prove them all wrong?😯" and then deku immediately gets a quirk and is a hero and it's like welp guess he didn't prove em wrong💀 interesting lesson to teach ig but this episode circles back to that and made me realize just how incredible horikoshis writing is, I'll never doubt him again

Well As I say Again My Recommendation Would be these 3 1. Fairy Tail (My Favourite you guys will love it some of the best character interactions in all anime and one of the best Dubs) 2. There is a reason why I watch only your reactions. By far the best setup, structure, and overall quality. And for me, another important thing - watching dub. Everytime I look up other reactions, their setup is kinda bad. Even when they have good microphone and all. But a good microphone does not fix bad acoustics. Or they don't know how to properly mix or use compressors. And lastly: You two are very likable. And for the last few years, the reaction were always something I was looking forward to when I had a bad day.
