I wonder why H.P. Lovecraft was so disgusted by the mental image of fish people. I guess it would be pretty scary now that I think of it, since there's so much more space in the seas who knows what they'd be capable of.

2024-09-19 19:45:39 +0000 UTCIts what i love most about their chanel is that they really do pick up on themes that take most people multiple watch throughs. I think what also helps them is that they basically do a literary analysis at the end of every episode so the subtities calcify better.

It took some getting used to (it isn't a BAD dub - several characters just have such different voices from the Japanese that it's jarring), but I've noticed that you guys are picking up on details and themes that go right over the heads of most reactors I've watched, and I'm wondering if that's a merit of dubbed Anime - better comprehension hearing things explained in your language rather than trying to balance reading and watching during the action. You've given me an appreciation for dubs that I, as a lifelong card-carrying Sub Snob, have never had. Thank you!

2024-09-17 13:15:50 +0000 UTCBecause of how difficult it is to use domain expansion sorcerers have made multiple mini uses of the domain ability so that those you don’t know how to use domain expansion can defend or use stuff against domain users the first is simple domain it makes a 2 by 2 circle around the person and when used in another’s domain will block the sure hit of the domain until the circle breaks next is flower blossom of emotions only members of the big 3 clans know how to use it what it does is the user has their cursed energy deflect the sure hit if the domain which will let them move around and fight but depending on the power of the user if the domain the ability could only lessen the power of the sure hit and final we have domain amplification which basically wraps a domain around a person so they can attack someone even if their CT would protect them think of it like a weaker inverted spear of heaven Toji used one thing to also mention is that when using any of those abilities you can’t use your CT
