2024-09-07 20:07:48 +0000 UTCNot a question. Just a suggestion, there is a lot of colloquialisms in the show that the show doesn't take them time to explain. Some are pretty self explanatory based on context and some are not explained at all. It's like the creators assumed anyone watching has played the game. I have seen quite a few reactors get confused about certain things. So if you want, entirely spoiler free I would be more than happy to give a brief definition of the usual examples.

Just be content creators, but more cyber? I can’t imagine any kind of life for myself in the mega-cities, personally. Give me a tribe of Nomads and the open road.

Is this reflective of our world and do you think David’s anger is justified?

2024-09-03 21:25:22 +0000 UTCNOT A QUESTION BUT JUST FOR INFO some of the slang in the series isn't 100% obvious eddies = Scratch = euro dollar = money Borg = A full-body cyborg conversion (someone who has so much cyberware that they are almost all tech) Braindance or BD = vr but you feel what the pov person feels (somtimes it is upped by alot) choom = friend/buddy Chrome = Cyberware Chromed = To be implanted with cyberware Deckhead = A netrunner/hacker Delta = To leave/to depart. Joytoy = A sex worker Nova = preem = Cool = awesome = dope Ripperdoc = Surgeon specializing in implanting illegal cyberware. Shard = Short for datashard, a medium for storing and transporting data. and also if you haven't you REALLY SHULDE play cyberpunk 2077
