HAHO 1x1

Enjoy! Next ep Monday!

What Alastor is doing here is lowering the barrier. It's a sales and recruiting technique, you start with something small and insignificant like this. Now Vaggie can not say "I would _never_ make _any_ kind of deal with him" Because that line has already been crossed. From here, youd increase the pressure bit by bit, each time moving the threshold up a little bit further until the ultimate goal.

Saiyasha

Hell is forever is my fav song

Soul Reaper

"Guitar solo fuck yeaah!" Loving these reactions. Looking forward to next episode <3

RawrSaur

love this!

IGoBySparky

The idea of a "good person" is largely meaningless without context, and the context has dramatically shifted over time. He could very well be the exact same person he was when alive, but because that was considered "good" at the time he got into heaven.

David L

OMG! I never noticed the irony of Adam eating ribs before! lol No doubt you guys will pick up on a lot of things I never noticed. Also, I'm thinkin' HB might be a good show to watch before S2 of Solo Leveling? Gosh, I'm sure you guys get that comment a million times a day. If so, I apologize. Just throwin' it out there.

Cyan_SkyAnfall

Why?

Recable

OMG YES KENNY we need to see you sing a song from this. Oooo I bet youd do great with Poison a song from ep 4. Its one of the only ones the actual VAs did live irl

Nabs.shani

how is it not fair? the ppl that did as they were supposed to still got to heaven. those that don't got to hell. unless others HAVE to suffer for ppl in heaven to enjoy heaven than its not a big deal.

Ebronics

the got a ton of broadway actors to do VA.

Ebronics

Infinite torture for finite crimes isn’t moral, and genocide is always wrong

Vince92

I gave the show a chance and I still don't like it.

Isaiah Olmos

The only thing this show doesn't address is whether this is fair or not, I mean how is this fair to the people did as they were supposed too

Gerardo Mendez

The only requirement at the time was to listen to God, so Adam basically had an easy ticket in as long as he did listen

Gerardo Mendez

No problem 😊

Katsuki BakuGOAT

Oh btw I’ve watched Helluva boss and hazbin a bunch of times, so don’t worry about spoilers, just wasn’t sure if they were in the same universe. Appreciate the confirmation

Big K

scale wise lucifer mosty powerful adam , lillith and charlie all just below him other exsterminator angels the 6 sins under lucifer as lucifer is pride the other 6 of the seven deadly si n are his generals below them is the 72 goecia royal demons then got overloerds which is what alistor is humans who became powerful in hell normal souls aka sinners below them is native hellborn with the weakest two species of hellborn bieng hellhounds and imps

demonic-myst

I don’t know if real world theology offers a really clear cut framework to use. The Old Testament and arguably the New Testament don’t mention hell and the modern idea of it owes more to Dante’s Inferno than a specific religious text.

Arcanity

I love her!!

Katsuki BakuGOAT

When I first watched the episode I assumed the latter as I liked the idea that a soul can change but that unfortunately doesn’t mean everyone gets better.

Arcanity

Because it's loosely based off of general religion. It's not going to be accurate to any actutal religion because it borrows different aspects to create an entirely different medium. There's no point trying to assign any certain religious rules to it, the point becomes null and void. That's like saying a Disney movie got the original story wrong when it's a loose adaptation of a century old Grimm fairy tale. Duh? It's not the same.

Katsuki BakuGOAT

Yes, at one point a character(not specifying just in case) is watching the pilot

Phoenix Mackenzie

Gotta love that Montana’s reaction to realizing that the angel is Adam is basically the exact same as Charlie’s.

Michael

Pretty sure it is. I believe in episode 2, it's shown that a character has a modified robotic fizarolli so that's one connection

xman t

Yeah. Hazbin takes place in the pride ring of hell (as Lucifers the ruler of the pride) ring and it follows some hellborn but mostly sinners. Helluva takes place in the wrath ring (they vist just and I think greed too) and follows mostly hellborn (imps, hellhounds, succubus etc)

Katsuki BakuGOAT

Alex Brightman plays douchebag SO well and the song rules. Cant wait for next week

blitzø

It's an original narrative with some borrowed names it doesn't need to follow any rules of real world theology. Trying to analyze it through that lens is a waste of time

blitzø

Is it? I know it’s same creators, but is it actually in the same universe?

Big K

You guys should do Helluva Boss after Hazbin since it's in the same universe

Katsuki BakuGOAT

This show has a ton of hidden easter eggs and details that i'm sure kenny will love finding when he edits Lol

Katsuki BakuGOAT

Thank you guys for reading my question I wanted to clarify a question you guys had last episode I believe If a sinner is killed by a sinner then they will just respawn in hell but if a sinner is killed with angelic powers then they are erased from existence so that’s why they stay dead during extermination also the reason for the voice and visual changes is because vizzpop made the show for YouTube and the pilot was with all the time and resources she had there but she couldn’t make a series with that so she pitched her show idea to Amazon and they liked it so she worked with Amazon to make the rest

Braden Jackson

I NEVER CLICKED FASTER OMG I'm so excited for you guys to watch this!

Lilac_Flower

For clarification, I've watched it all. That's why I said what I said. I can't say much without spoiling anything but when they get to that episode I'll put my full thoughts on the reasoning behind my stance.

Kalla

Amazing! Can’t wait for you to see more!

smilingsophia

In my opinion, Viv takes the loosest version of Christian hell. Similar characters but the rules overall changed from reality and it does address the conversation repeatedly. I don't want to discuss it too much here to avoid spoiling future episodes, but the entire show is centered around this conversation of "what gets you into heaven or damned to hell"

Corey Porter

In my opinion the creator of Hazbin Hotel did a poor job making these conversations of is it fair that people were sent to hell feel nuanced. Like religious texts exist in all different religions explaining how one gets sent to heaven or hell. I don't understand why it's not used or hinted at all in the first episode. This coming from someone who was raised in a Christian household.

Kalla

My best guess for my Adam got to heaven even though his a dick is that he either got special treatment for being the first man or he actually was a good person but being spoiled in heaven made him a child

Braden Jackson

Was a little worried, but I’m so glad that y’all seem to enjoy this show as much as I do
