The thing about Monoma is he has trained to use new unfamiliar quirks on the fly. Copying Erasure is helpful, but he could also copy super regeneration or decay. If you replaced Monoma with X-less in the Shigaraki Scene Monoma could have copied Decay before Shigaraki woke up and decayed Shigaraki's arms and legs. his quirk is more than just helpful for depowering Shigaraki

On another unrelated note I just realized the two creators I watch the most are you guys (my favorite anime reactors by far) and Hasanabi. I just love going from my leftist political streams to anime content.

Just the whole concepts of the parallels between all might/endeavor and deku/bakugo is one of my favorite things about this series because its such a good parallel at different points in their careers that ultimately end differently despite seemingly starting out the same

2024-09-03 01:43:48 +0000 UTCRegarding the Monoma question, from what we know of his quirk, he would be able to copy Erasure and use it for roughly 10 minutes after touching Aizawa. While having two Erasures around in a battle like this would be a huge benefit, he hasn't trained with the quirk the way Aizawa has and wouldn't be able to hold focus as long as he does. Also, Aizawa has a lot more combat experience and is able to more than hold his own in a fight. If Monoma were in the lab with Aizawa, would he have actually been of any real help? If you want to pair Monoma and Aizawa all the time, that either weakens your squad with Aizawa or reduces him to a supportive role.

2024-08-31 15:09:00 +0000 UTCKenny the only reason monoma would be with eraser would be if the hero’s took a 16 year old kid into the doctors lab with all the high ends and had to constantly be touching and matching pace with a pro hero eraser bc copy only lasts 5 min, its a logistical headache and im guessing it was safer and easier to not to that😂great idea though!! If they could’ve picked when and where they fought shigaraki that idea would certainly have merit, however he probably would been dust when shigarki woke up(not as fast as any pro and some pros still got killed)
