2024-08-31 17:29:49 +0000 UTCSo, there is a Sistershow to Hazbin Hotel, called "Helluva Boss" it is set in the same Universe, but deals with the 'other' side of hell: Hazbin Hotel is all about the Sinners that were once human and after their death incarnated there. They are only allowed to exist in the Pridering and their Leader is Charlies father, Lucifer. Helluva Boss mainly focuses on so called "Hellborns", which are Imps, Hellhounds, Succubi and Incubi and other creatures that come from Hell originally and have never been human and can freely traveserse all of hell. It has a bit more backstory on how hell works. One of the few things that changed between the pilot and the first episode of Helluva Boss is that there are only 7 rings of hell, not 9 like Katie Killjoy said here, and they are all lead by a Demon representing a mortal sin (Lust, Gluttony, Envy etc.) I am saying this because 'Satan' is the leader of the Wrath Ring, though as of yet unseen in eitehr show, while Lucifer is the leader of the Pride ring, where the Sinners live.

Also, due to Contracts and all that, the original VA's won't be in the Actual show, though the show VA's are really, _really_ good as well

Sinners are only able to be in the pride layer of hell, while the rest can go to the other 6 freely

That being said I do like both versions of voice actors for everyone. Also my all time favorite joke is between Alistair and Angel Dust in the pilot

Otherwise honestly idk but it to me seems similar! Hope that helps! Also it's understandable that people got it confused but if they looked at the schedule y'all put up it says hazbin hotel so I personally can't say I didn't know. Another side note, if you do watch hunter x hunter the x isn't supposed to be said it's just put there I forget why but it's actually just called hunter hunter so HH for either series does make it confusing for that reason

The sister show, Helluva Boss, explores these aspects more than the main series has so far.

Can infinite punishment ever be a reasonable response to a finite crime? Because in life every crime is going be finite. Also from the point of view of the sinners in hell why would they even try to be better if there isn't anything. They're stuck in hell and now what. Even if they change to be a better person they're still in hell. So why change. Then when you look at all the things different sects and religions call sin should anyone be punished for stuff like that?

There’s a lot of lore to this hell that isn’t fully explored in the show but you’ll get more of it if you guys watch Helluva Boss which is from the same creative team and all on YouTube. Also, for the full Hazbin experience you’d have to wait 4 years before watching the prime show, but I’m glad I only have to wait a week for episode 1

For the purposes of the show, there are hellborn demons, sinner demons that were alive and sent to hell, and sinners can become overlords by owning enough souls to achieve a power level yet to be stated. There's a lot more but It's not relevant unless you guys watch helluva boss
