In the show we see that Alastor was gone for 7 years and that there is a large mystery about how he gained power now we know that just like Husk he is in dept to someone in their leash so to say who do you think he is in dept to and why do you think after all this time he chose the hotel as his return

This is because when he was alive, he was a radio host and serial killer and while he was in the woods burying one of his victim's body's, a hunter mistook him for a deer and shot him in the head. This is also why you can see an x mark on Alastor's forehead.

Do you think his original motivations were a lie, or still stand if they weren't, or do you think that Alastor actually believes the Hotel can work by this point?
