At the end of Season 2, you can see how the love between many of our characters has butterfly-effected into the current disaster. Gojo’s sentimentality led him to not cremate Geto’s body, causing him to be taken over. Gojo’s bond with Geto is what allows him to be defeated and sealed. Megumi’s decision to save Yuji led to the destruction of Shibuya and costs thousands of lives. Should these characters have prioritized duty over their emotions? Are they at fault for being human first and sorcerer second? Is “love the most twisted curse of all” like Gojo said in JJK 0?
