I will say, though, that the fact they used the AMAZING costumes they'd designed and advertised in the promo stuff for only FIVE MINUTES is an absolute crime.

2024-08-07 14:50:56 +0000 UTCI like your points about the quirk theory but also I think there is a physical component the human body can only handle so much and while maybe after hundreds of gens you could have a human body that could naturally withstand these super powers, quirks are evolving so much more rapidly. The software is greatly out pacing the hardware. Deku is the perfect example OFA is a jet engine and dekus body is a rusty pick up truck, could you put that engine in a truck like that? Sure but it’s going to tear itself apart. While wiping out all quirks by going all Eren Yeager on them (literally bc Eren rumbled 80% of the world and that’s the percent with quirks) is not the best answer, deku is def a good microcosm for that possible future.

I had heard going into it that it wasn’t as good as the other two and I think #2 will always be my favorite because of the izuku/Bakugou team up, but this one is probably ahead of the first movie for me. I loveee that it kinda focuses on the trio and Rody is such a cool character. It’s too bad he’s only in the movie and not the anime. I think his personality really works well with Izuku’s.

And I actually went to see this in theater and it was amazing. So I completely forgot to react while I was watching, but the first thing that I wanted to comment on was the fact that Kenny and Montana missed the fact that they said Eddie soul created the key that would break their bombs. And they didn't put two and two together being soul being his last name. So rody's dad. And then after bakugo's fight, he also landed with his hand in the air. Kind of like a reflection of all might. And that made me cry in the theaters. Y'all don't understand the way I was sobbing in tears in the theater seeing Peno start to disappear. You guys missed that It wasn't just the deku inspo. It was also the bakugo inspo. It's the same thing that erase our head said bakugo and deku are always the leaders in the class in different ways and just completely unconsciously. Everybody ends up following deku and or bakugo. The fact that deku can still move is beyond comprehension to me. Because that man was messed up. He went Super Saiyan again. I was sobbing in the theater and then they started cackling in the movie and I'm like what is going on right now? How can you laugh while I'm in pain? No but this was sooo cute

I had been reading it weekly for 5+ years and i genuinely don’t know what I’m gonna do anymore. I don’t care what anyone says I love the series and everything about it and I wouldn’t be into anime/manga if not for MHA. Shout out to Horikoshi his editors and everyone on the anime team for making such a great series. And thank you MHA

And that goes into the whole "quirks become so powerful we can no longer control or function as a society with them" idea. That may be a coincidence but thats a pretty cool easter egg if so

I know that Kenny has been following the anime, and most of if not all of what they uploaded as a reaction is just Montanas first reaction. Does anyone know if Kenny is caught up with the manga? Or if he’s continued to watch the new season as it’s out? Or has he been waiting for Montana to be caught up? Just curious haha
