The Milktec Man's War - Part I
Added 2023-06-26 23:01:31 +0000 UTCTwo intrepid reporters, Redd and Graham, are trying to nail Milktec to the wall and getting proof of their experimentation on soldiers seems like a promising way to do it. Their source leads them to a remote cabin, the home of Sergeant Abram, a soldier with first hand experience of Milktec's efforts to create a super soldier. He agrees to tell the reporters his story, but cautions them that tangling with Milktec never ends well.
Hi all. Some time last Friday, I hit a snag of writers block near the end of the next section of Vaught. As I was unraveling that, I kept coming back to an idea that had been pitched to me. Fixing writer's block usually involves focusing on something else for a while, so I decided to write out a page or two of this other idea to help clear my head. But then I wrote the whole thing.
So here's this 12k word story. I'll add in a little context for those unfamiliar with how Milktec's world works. It's an alternative reality to ours in which history shifts around the invention of Milktec's serum in 1937. One butterfly effect later, World War II doesn't stop with Germany's defeat, but carries on indefinitely as Soviet Russia continues fighting the Allied nations. Part of the reason this happens is the discovery of Milktec's serum and it's ability to fundamentally transform people in both body and, to a slightly lesser degree, in mind.
That context has always been firmly in the background. Ongoing war is mostly a footnote in the Milktec stories, but it's fairly key to Milktec's rise to world dominance. So how was the serum used in the war? This set of stories will explore those ideas through Sergeant Abram and others.
Note that if you're just looking for spicy things, that happens in the third section and the rest of the story is on the more brutal side of things. War, death, blood, horribly mutated abominations, etc. People are naked and horny while it happens, but that might make it more uncomfortable.
The juxtaposition of fun sex against a war backdrop is a tricky needle to thread, so the next part will happen when it happens. In the meantime, I'm back to Vaught. Happy Reading!

A bit late to the party, but I very much enjoyed this one. Hoping for more ^^

2023-07-18 22:03:18 +0000 UTCI'm torn between wanting more Vaught and wanting more of this one. Part 1 means there has to be a part 2 and I'm excited for the next part. Better than I could have imagined
