Not just that, he's also a noted expert in the medical study of quirks, so Inko bringing Izuku to him about his late blooming makes perfect sense.

2024-09-01 21:18:29 +0000 UTCThink it's just a coincidence, guy is an actual doctor and has a job. Makes sense he would see plenty if regular patients.

2024-08-15 20:58:34 +0000 UTCHis quirk didnβt leave their hands. AFO and the doctor compressed the dust left behind by their bodies into the hands

2024-08-15 13:14:52 +0000 UTCI was going to say that they mention a specific anatomical difference in the toe that identifies quirkless people, but I suppose it was the Doctor that told them that so you could argue maybe he was luing

2024-07-14 19:35:10 +0000 UTCi think the reason they do My villain Acedemia at this part of the season is so when you watch the series as a whole it segways better into the next arc that starts season 6

2024-07-14 02:08:42 +0000 UTCThe ordering of the arcs is weird, but I do like getting a slower paced break after Eriβs rescue before getting into this arc.

2024-07-12 18:00:07 +0000 UTC36:17 idk if the anime ever mentions it but in the Manga of the material they covered way back in Season 1, Inko (dekus mom) says that her husband (dekus dad) works overseas. I would presume that he does talk to deku and his mom, we're just never shown it. The author of the manga did promise yearssss ago after season 2 of the anime came out, to show dekus dad once before the manga ends so that should be coming in the next 3 weeks

2024-07-12 05:45:53 +0000 UTCitβs my favorite episode in the season

2024-07-12 01:36:23 +0000 UTCI just went back to episode 1 to see your reaction to the doctor and the look you gave the camera was amazing! I didn't realize it was the same doctor until this point either. I agree with Kenny for the most part, but I don't think the doctor actually took Deku's quirk, but I think he might be a doctor in a place like this to scout out potential good quirks for All for One. Love the reactions! I can't wait until you guys watch season 6 and catch up to season 7!

2024-07-12 00:10:53 +0000 UTCall might: "I AM HERE".. all for one "i am here"

2024-07-11 20:13:03 +0000 UTCDude, I cannot WAIT for Montana to see episode 23. It's completely horrific, and at the same time, one of my favorite moments in the series, in a way.

H-Bomb 24
2024-07-11 19:05:36 +0000 UTCIt's really just the way he starts the last sentence. He said "He did this..." without breaking from the previous sentence and it feels like he's about to start another half to his rant but it's actually the final sentence of the whole thing. Definitely sounds weird.

2024-07-11 17:58:28 +0000 UTCThe Doctor's taking Deku's quirk and just saying he's quirkless is a fav theory in MHA of mine bc it's pretty plausible considering the Doctor's history and they fact that he's been secretly experimenting at the hospital he's been working at without the patients' knowledge like If that were true it'd be like AOT level of plot points connecting to random things in the beginning coming in full circle and I'm 100% here for it

2024-07-11 17:49:53 +0000 UTCWithout confirmation I would assume that's a fan theory. The anime industry exists financially to sell manga in Japan. They generally don't care about anime-only watchers. The second movie, for instance, was released immediately after season 4 despite several references to events in season 5.

2024-07-11 17:49:00 +0000 UTCItβs a fake world I donβt like to believe in coincidences in fiction until the creator flat out says it

2024-07-11 17:12:50 +0000 UTCThis portion of the story is what got me back into Mha I love tomura and the other villains very interesting
Justin Spencer
2024-07-11 16:10:03 +0000 UTCI'd forgotten you reacted that way when you first saw The Doctor. Just went back and rewatched that part. You went from tearing up from the "I am here" to absolutely shocked within just a few seconds. TBF, I was shocked, too, when I first realized who that was.
Gestrid
2024-07-11 16:09:06 +0000 UTCYeah Iβm rewatching and there id no pace to the dialogue itβs just word vomit
Mason Scott
2024-07-11 16:09:05 +0000 UTCNah I think it flowed better in the manga but also this arc wasnβt really adapted well in my opinion
Mason Scott
2024-07-11 16:07:20 +0000 UTCIs it me or does the dumb make the dialogue feel like one big run on sentence like when the doctor first speaks to shiggy itβs like a bunch of exposition in like a minute without and breaks
Mason Scott
2024-07-11 16:06:15 +0000 UTCNo, it was switched around because of the third movie and its tie-in episode.
Gestrid
2024-07-11 15:56:47 +0000 UTCYeah. A lot of fans complained, but personally I thought it made for a better ending to the season.
renuzui
2024-07-11 15:32:39 +0000 UTCQuirks grow with the person. Remember young Bakugou with his little firework type hands? Shigaraki's quirk didn't start off as complete disintegration. Thus, body parts could be left.
Imani Brooks
2024-07-11 15:10:41 +0000 UTCYeah, that's what I always assumed too. They wanted to end the season with a bang.
Trav
2024-07-11 15:08:12 +0000 UTCThey switch the arc around because the MHA anime is adverted as kid friendly and a show where you root for the heroes. This arc is dark, somewhat uncomfortable and makes you kinda root for the villains.
Successor
2024-07-11 14:56:47 +0000 UTCNow that you said it, I find it odd that there's literally ZERO mention EVER about dekus dad (outside of, I THINK, episode 1 when his mom mentioned his quirk?) I remember watching your face that first episode when it hit you who the Dr was π€£π€£π€£ but that's actually quite an interesting theory! Did Montana piece together that this is the same meta liberation army that hawks mentioned to endeavor that's about to attack in a few months?
Jinchuriki87
2024-07-11 14:55:18 +0000 UTCThe movie came out during the 5th season and takes place after the events of endeavor agency. So they decided to switch the arcs so anime only who wanted to watch the movie could have proper context
Gdawg88
2024-07-11 14:34:47 +0000 UTCThey made switch for the 3rd movie

2024-07-11 14:32:29 +0000 UTCThat makes sense. It makes for a better send-off of the season, especially since the coming conflict picks RIGHT up next season.
H-Bomb 24
2024-07-11 14:27:53 +0000 UTCAs a manga reader, I believe the reason MVA happened later in the anime was so that it would flow into the next season better
