ngl I hate her dad too but you guys are dragging it quite a bit. I hate the way he treats her and her powers but how can you not understand that he doesn’t want handouts from her power? The father of a household supporting the house for years and then BOOM, your daughter is born with magical powers where you literally need to do nothing anymore to provide for your family and you seem small in comparison. I 100% get why he doesn’t take handouts from her and wants to do it himself. Now, the way he treats her and her powers is definitely not okay. Still shitty father, just not as bad as you’re making him out to be

Keeping it to keeping the fridge stocked would be the better plan.
