Hi all. This wound up being longer than I expected, such that I figured it would be boring without some sex in it. It would probably fit better as the back half of a really long chapter 7, but that'll be something I figure out in the final compile. It's a good bit of explaining through lots of characters talking which can be a nightmare, but I think it fleshes out the crew a little better before heading into the next bit. Happy Reading!

I wanted to differentiate Justin some to keep from just adding another sausage to the festival, so to speak. His initial section will get a little bit added in to allude to his future so it's not so out of left field. Same for Thorn for that matter. But, it ended up giving a space to flesh out Steven's character a bit in how he accepts the fluidity and what that will mean for the future recruits. Definitely some smoothing needed going back as far as what is currently Chapter 5. All the parts are more or less what they need to be, but their order needs swapping around.

2023-04-11 15:26:12 +0000 UTCThis was a fun read; still getting used to the twist Justin took in this chapter; I don't think I was expecting a bi-guy turned femme-dude nor the sex with Steve. I am of two minds with a lot of the world building in this chapter; some of it feels like it would have fit better with the previous chapter and some of it feels like it should have been the chapter's surprise reveal/ending. Trying and piecing Chapters 6, 7, and 8 into a timeline mentally; I've got to a point that personally I would have liked to see Chrissy bringing up the lack of soil/earth/food for the Seed leading to the nymphs devolving into another orgy leaving Steve to think on it while Arthur went into the pod to speed up his changes., Arthur would emerge from the pod with the morning light telling Steve about going back to work to solve the dirt problem aka the old basements of the buildings. Steve having spent the night conversing with Crystal/Chrissy about possible solutions and nothing seeming right.
