so Geto believes the strong should protect the weak and that the survival of the weakest is needed for a proper society. Gojo doesn't care about protecting the weak, and in fact says that only the weak would assign responsibilities to the strong. Going back to the opening scenes of this episode, it's hinted we might get to find out what happened to Geto and why he did what he did in the jjk0 movie. What's your educated guess, based off all info from the movie and first season, on just what the hell happened for Gojo's best friend to turn into an enemy of Jujutsu High who unleashed 2,000 curses on innocent humans (monkeys)?

Though we've seen it before, what are your thoughts on Geto's cursed technique 'cursed manipulation'? He can swallow, control, and unleash almost any curse, where would you rank this power in terms to other cursed techniques we've seen? At first glance, what do you think about Gojo and Geto’s dynamic as students? Is it what you expected after their relationship was hinted at in the movie? How is it different than how we’ve seen other characters interact with Gojo in the present?

Addy

In this episode, Gojo refers to himself and Geto as “the strongest” as a pair. However, in the present, when Gojo is referred to as “the strongest”, the title often feels isolating, setting him apart from everyone around him. Furthermore, it’s coupled with a technique that literally makes him untouchable. How do you think all of this impacts Gojo’s ability to connect with others? What do you think of the way the strongest character is portrayed in JJK compared to other shows you’ve seen?

Addy

What do you think about Gojo and Geto’s ideals as shown in the basketball scene compared to what we see in season one and the movie?

What do you think of Gojo and Geto's opposing views regarding their duties as sorcerers, and how different the two are compared to their future selves?

What are your thoughts on the man at the end of the episode that the Star Religious group hired whose last name was Fushiguro, formerly Zenin? Do you suspect any relation to Megumi? If so, what do you predict to see from him following this arc?

Ashton

What are your thoughts on Tengen in general how he stands and operates at the center of Jujutsu Society essentially, but must merge with the Star Plasma Vessel to maintain his mental functions and self of identity?

Ashton

This episode we hear that Gojo thinks protecting the weak is exhausting while Geto believes that survival of the weakest is the proper shape of society and maintaining that is the duty of Jujutsu Sorcerers which is in direct contrast to their beliefs shown in JJK 0 and season 1. With all that in mind, why do you suppose that as students, Gojo and Geto had mirror opposite beliefs to themselves in adulthood and what development do you think could’ve caused both of them to reverse their points of view?

Who's hotter young or old gojo
