Hi all. As promised, second part of Hyacinth is reformatted. Hope you enjoy.
Second, Little Shop warrants a chunk of explanation. This is what I worked on for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month, which I'm not sure is exclusively national any longer, it's more of just 'hey it's November, everyone write a novel if you want). I suppose what I've written meets the technical definition of a novel minus the whole ending part. It's currently 45,000 words which is roughly 11 of the normal short stories, and it's probably 2/3rds done.
The bad news is that most of the sexy stuff happens in that final 1/3rd. This chunk isn't entirely without sexy stuff, but it's plot heavy. A normal short would be a 1:1 ratio of plot to fucking, but this is probably closer to 3:1 plot to fucking at the moment. (They never tell you that writing is mostly math.)
The good news is that I'm going to keep on trucking with it and get to all the sexy bits. In the meantime, there's a decent amount of leaky boobs, day dreaming about dicks, and a whole town unwittingly slurping coffee laden with breast milk.
What I've attached is a Work In Progress that I've compiled such that its readable-- quick formatting and a general spell check and spot reading. There's typos in it, there's stuff that won't make sense in continuity, names might even spontaneous change spelling or altogether, and other errors that will be fixed. All that belittling out of the way, hopefully its somewhat fun to read in its current state.
That brings us to December. The current plan is to write two original shorts alongside my continuing work on Little Shop, getting the latter complete by the New Year. New stuff will come first though, and I have a busy schedule for the holidays. Everything subject to whatever new level the apocalypse happens to reach.
Finally, I updated the dropbox link so its current to today. If you missed anything from the past five months, be sure to grab it.
