It's an anime that plays on realistic things like the manipulation of women through their bodies, their beauty and their use of psychology. The development of an individual who is disconnected from people and society and who rediscovers the world through the people who use him. A human who has lost his family to demons, who is responsible and aware of the world around him, and who will therefore allow Denji and power to enter and become ‘human’, to form a family.

He's suspicious, but because he didn't grow up in the same environment as normal people, he'll think about having a relationship, thinking about women at first because that's normal. To find satire in something like that is not to understand the work, not to understand Chainsaw Man. That power uses and comes to see denji for her breasts is normal = she has an interest in meowy, because she doesn't have the same sense of morality as us humans. She's possessed. It's like real life somehow. A ton of realistic stuff. Denji = lack of female relationships in his life as a child = wants to have a girlfriend, someone to look after him, to take care of him / Power = lack of morals, interest in cats = uses Denji for his personal interests / Aki = serious, human = will be aware of the seriousness and is a responsible person.

2024-05-08 12:39:33 +0000 UTCChainsaw Man is just supposed to show a realistic anime through its characters, like denji, he grew up without a mother, he had a difficult life so he wants to have a female relationship in his entourage. Humour is used to introduce dark and philosophical passages. It is not a satire. Sexual satire is not used here. It's simple: there's Makima, a manipulative woman who uses her beauty to her advantage, and Power, who uses her breasts to her advantage. Because Denji didn't grow up in the same life as them and therefore has a different outlook and ambition. To call it satire is a lack of respect.
