Ah gotcha!

Raven Kesterson

guys yall are assuming that Schnizel told ANYONE of his plan to nuke the entire world. he told Nunnally that the people of Pendragon were safe when that wasnt true. Alls they really know about this conflict is Emperor Lelouch is evil because of geass and Schnizel has Fleias.

Sirlancelot

And Schneizel's English VA(Troy Baker) brings another connection to another similar character that wanted to wield power to force the world into a state of peace under fear, and thought themselves a God to do so: Pain from Naruto(Tendo Pain was also voiced by Troy Baker).

ArcaneAnomaly

guys schnizel is zeke with his crazy plan

NOT-ME YOU

Yeah they're such idiotic hypocrites. I totally get why there confused why the black knights hate Lelouch so much and aren't on team Schneizel

Fresh2000

I mean this show and aot are similar but I feel like people drag out how similar they are, it’s every surface level similarities in my opinion

Team Outbreak Paintball

Pendragon was King Arthur. It was Arthur Pendragon; all the knights are named after the nights of the round table; Lancelot was his best knight.

GreatRiverofKings

"schneizel's a bitch" montana's so real for that one hahah also these last two episodes are WILD and i can't wait to get to them. the wait is gonna feel so long

Eric C

At what point did Cornelia stop being a mass-murdering, jingoistic, fascistic, eugenicist who murdered a ghetto of innocents just to lure out Zero? Does no one care that Ohgi agreed to sell out the rest of the world to Schneizel in exchange for being able to continue banging Villetta? Does no one care that Villetta is responsible for the Black Rebellion's failure by shooting Ohgi? Does no one care that Schneizel and Britannia developed the FLEIJA in the first place? Why do they think Lelouch using Geass is somehow worse than nuking the capital city? Are the Black Knights really this stupid without Lelouch?

Atticus Omundson

Gotta point out how Nina ate some extremely suspicious taco, which leads to Lloyd yelling at Cecile who obviously made the taco.

Pendragon in Britonnic culture essentially conveys "Chief Leader" (literally Chief Dragon). Geoffrey of Monmouth claimed it meant a Dragon's Head. According to him, when Constantine III's son Aurelius Ambrosius died, making the next child Uther king of the Britons, a comet in the form of a dragon's head appeared in the sky above (Uther was leading the Britons in battle, especially against the Saxons, at the time). His friend, the wizard Merlin, saw this and interpreted it as a sign that the king was dead, Uther was now king, and would be victorious in battle. When Uther ended up winning his battles, he appended the name Pendragon to his name ("Uther Pendragon"). This appellation would (in some accounts) pass on to his much more famous son, Arthur.

The truth has been revealed! Lelouch isn’t the most similar to Light in this show. It is in fact Schnizel that is the most similar to Light/Kira. To stop war and crime in the world through fear.

SouthCoast

“You think using geas on people any better” umm child mass genicide vs one off sugestions yes its better 10000%

demonic-myst

I know you guys saw AoT first, but this isnt Lelouch being Eren. It was Eren, in AoT, being Lelouch. AoT startes publication, as a manga a couple years after CG ended. And CG was huge in Japan in the late 2010s. Whether intentional or not, AoT's Isayama borrowed or was inspired heavily by CG

Nick A Sam III

Thinking your missed understanding what's going on with the princes and the black knights they don't know his plans with the nukes. When they said the not oking useing nukes there talking about Pendragon but Lou Lou has to be stop here and now.

monkeyman

Yeah eren didn't just do it to make the world a better place. He did it for those close to him not for everyone and partly because the world wasn't the way he wanted it to be from a children's book as a kid. He had some partly very selfish motives on his end.

Fresh2000

The Black Knights are currently assuming they're just fighting Lelouch and the world will proceed from there. They don't know that Schneizel plans to become a dictator, because the mask that he's worn throughout this entire series is that of an honest, understanding, fair, and sometimes lenient bureacrat. It's why Cornelia is so shocked when he reveals his plan to her - it completely shatters her perception of her brother and the person she thought he was. When Suzaku asks that Schneizel become emperor when Charles all but abdicated the throne to pursue God, Schneizel readily accepts the request. In fact, Charles at multiple points indicates, in some way, that Schneizel has been making moves against him, and warns Lelouch that by rejecting Charles, he will inherit "Schneizel's world". The second Prince of Britannia was always the wolf in sheep's clothing. His very first act was to fire upon Suzaku, Euphemia, and Zero, in spite of knowing they were all in that pit. And it gets written off as a minor thing where the end result of everyone escaping justifies the use of force upon his own sister/subordinates. As he states at the end of this episode, he is someone who has mastered the use of the mask. And now he must face Lelouch, who has worn several masks of his own.

Ceeneon

Wouldn't even compare Lelouch and Eren personally. And I didn't like AOTs ending...

Maximumpotato123

So, something to point out. Pretty certain nobody else but Schneizel's sort of inner circle knows about the plan with the Damocles. When Xingke said their goal wasn't the approval of the FLEIJAs use, I believe he meant within the context of that battle. So from the eyes of the Black Knights, they're fighting against Lelouch who is a tyrant trying to control the world, and are siding with Schneizel who, as far as they know, is just claiming to be backing the rightful ruler of Britannia - Nunnally.

No Consequence

Only Lelouch would think to make a dormant volcano erupt LOL. But blowing up Mt. Fiji has a hidden motive where Lelouch is thinking ahead. He just destroyed the biggest source of sakuradite which will cause a shortage of knightmare fuel and use worldwide and was one of the original reasons Japan got invaded in the 1st place.

Raul Iggynashow

Haha for sure, it’s just we watched AOT first

Letts React

This series predates attack on titan. So attack on titan is more like code geass lol…

Raven Kesterson

The entire intro is a peak example of quality entertainment lmao 😂👌🏻
