Sword of Damocles: A man named Damocles came to the king accusing him of living too lavish of a life. So the king composed a test. He offered him the most lavish feast ever and he could do it in a fancy chairs, but the catch was a sword being held by a thin string had to be suspended above his head. It was to demonstrate that though the king was rich, yes, he always had a sword at his through because of potential rebellions, assassination, military coups, revolt, etc. it’s basically a warning that no matter what you do you can be struck down at any point.

WIth the end so close, I am once again throwing out Eureka Seven as an anime for y'all to watch! Especially with how much you've liked Code Geass, I'm certain you'd love it!

2024-03-27 15:54:26 +0000 UTCIn S2 E18 they show Nunally's transport going downward on an elevator. Then in the next episode when they showed the side profile the nuke carved into you could see a lot of transporation tunnels deep underground. They implied Nunally made her escape underground.
