I like how you pause to gather your thoughts and work things out, even if they will reveal some stuff moments later. It also helps me understand the series better as well listening to your theories and explanations lol

And I don't think you should necessarily watch ahead, I like that you're both seeing it for the first time during the reactions. I mostly was trying to offer some more perspective to reframe the criticism. It doesn't have to be super negative and some of it is unavoidable, but I hope it helps to understand what the complaint is. I wouldn't want you to make massive changes to your style over something I or someone else said anyway. You've obviously thought about the best way to do it so I trust you'll keep delivering. Obviously all of us still watching are enjoying your show so keep it up.

2024-03-17 00:06:51 +0000 UTCI’m sorry you feel that way but sadly we have no way to know what’s trivial and what’s not, and it’s impossible to know if we’re missing anything, so we kinda have to pause whenever we think we may have missed something. I’ve considered watching jjk solo and then showing it to Montana since it’s so complicated, but i feel since we already started I should stick with not watching, but I really can’t control how much we need to pause sadly. It’s been that way for the last 679 episodes of shows haha

2024-03-16 23:55:16 +0000 UTCTo Kenny's questions about what if two people ate a Sukuna finger, Yuji is a special 1 in a 1,000,000 case that Sukuna incarnated into him. Normally anyone else would just die, the finger would've been a deadly poision to them... for some reason Yuji didn't and became a vessel. The only other "people" that would eat a finger are curses and that would increase their power level dramatically - like we saw at the juvenile detention center. That curse probably wouldn't have been a Special Grade if it hadn't had a finger. SO, the situation where there are two vessels is so incredibly unlikely, but theoretically Sukuna experiences everything his fingers experience so he could control two vessels at once if he wanted but his total output would be divided.

Idk why sometimes reactors automatically equate comments about too much talking, to us wanting or expecting silent reactions, when that's not the case lol. Like you're a reactor, of course we care about what you have to say, if we didn't, we'd just watch the show ourselves like Montana said. But that's not the point. It's because we care so much about your reactions and experience that we're so adamant about not talking too much over dialogue. That's not an attack or anything either. From my perspective, sometimes I'm like "damn, I wish they would've heard what ____ just said/explained, I wanted to see their reaction to that". It's like when you're showing a movie to someone who's never seen it. You know how that goes lol.

2024-03-16 15:33:28 +0000 UTCThe best way to think about the pausing comments is probably to compare this show to your MHA reactions. Often, you will tell Montana to hold on because the question she just asked is about to be answered. That happens in JJK too, you just don't know that's going to happen, so you pause instead of carrying on. The thing that is probably bothering some viewers is that you're pausing to spend a lot of time thinking about something trivial that would be answered if you just didn't pause for a couple more seconds. I'm loving the reactions, but I have been a little frustrated by this while watching too. I could see it being a complete turn off for someone who is less patient. I really think the only change I'd suggest is just being a little slower to hit the pause button on JJK.

It's a little funny how so many people assumed Junpei would survive because he's seen in the opening. JJK really gives its audience a false sense of security.

I thought he was gonna be super pessimistic and a grump. But this episode, specifically with the flashback, you see how he truly values life and what’s worth saving. He clearly values protecting the youth and see’s people like bakers, much more importantly than sleazy salespeople just trying to make oodles of money. He’s such a great person I love him.
