My favorite thing about the live action is the set design, all the cities and architecture look so amazing, accurate and colorful!

If the Avatar movie they do isn't great maybe their time has passed. Netflix cooked on One Piece so I'm looking forward to it

I'm not exactly cautiously optimistic, but I don't have unbridled optimism (so to speak) about this, either. The fact that Bryke left the project over creative differences with Netflix gives me pause, but the trailers have offset that *somewhat*.

But the fact that the original creators of the show WERE involved, but then left the project over "creative differences" leaves the question of what the issue was, and if it's something that will be glaringly different about the show. But between the teaser and this trailer...I'm honestly trying to figure out what that could have possibly been. This seems, for the most part, like they just painted live action right over the original so far.

If this series ends being a hit, may I recommend you guys also check out the One Piece live action show? That show has been very well received, and it would be another good live action series to take this ones place when you guys are done.

But now knowing this was y'all's start, it only makes sense! (Watched tophs VA react to this as well. It looks SO good!)
