COMMUNITY DEMO FEEDBACK - MARCH SESSION

Hello friends!  We are going to be trying something new this month.  I'd really like to bring back a means of providing you all feedback on your tracks.  Originally, at the launch of the Patreon, I was providing feedbacks in the form of leaving private comments on SoundCloud.  This proved super tedious and time consuming as I take helping you guys very seriously - I was spending 40 minutes to an hour on each feedback, which sadly was completely unsustainable for me.  

Instead of this again, what I will be doing is a video going through all of your tracks and leaving verbal commentary, and timestamping it accordingly, much like how I do my workshops and Q&A.  I believe this will be much less time consuming for me and will still achieve the same results for you.  

Having said all of that, here's how this will work:

1. Provide a link to your demo in the comments.  Soundcloud links are acceptable, Google Drive and Dropbox are not.  (I understand that this will allow others to publicly see your demo, but I can't have my inbox flooded with demos - hopefully this is not a big deal to you.  Others will hear it anyway on the feedback video.)

2.  Make sure that Download is enabled on your demo.  If I am unable to download it, I cannot review it.  

3.  Under your link, comment which aspect of the song you'd like me to focus on most.  (e.g., mixdown, arrangement, sound design, etc)

4.  I will only be reviewing from the beginning of the song until the conclusion of the first drop.  For the sake of time, this is most effective.  If your demo spans to a second drop, understand that I will not be able to review it.  If your demo is only an intro and a drop, fantastic - this is all I will review anyway.  You can then take the notes provided and keep them in mind while formulating the rest of your song.  

The review video will be created during the last week of the month, so make sure to get your submissions in earlier rather than later.  

Because I am not sure how long this will take, please consider this process a first come, first serve basis.  Those who comment their demos first will be priority, those who comment last may not be reached this month.  That said, I really hope to be able to go through all of them.  We'll see how this goes.
