Another option ould be to simply have Jujutsu Kaisen take that spot, and have it do twice a week on Thursday and Saturday, but we can discuss that later!

The premise is really interesting since it looks at a story after the main quest of defeating the big bad is complete while exploring interesting themes I think you guys will enjoy discussing. The anime is 20 ep deep so far and is ranked as the best anime of all time on myanime list but take that with a grain of salt :p

I think Fruits Basket would be a great change of pace, something they haven't seen before, the emotional writing is fantastic, it's a complete show with a very satisfying ending and deals with heavy topics in a careful and still light way I know they would love it because the themes are very resonant from a psychology pov. We all go through a shonen or seinen demographic rut because it's all anyone tells us to watch at the start. As for some of these Vinland is incredible but it feels like something you would want to watch once you've missed AoT for a while because of the writing and setting, Chainsaw Man feels unfinished as a S1 it would be better after the movie is dubbed so you get a more complete package and idea, Mob and Cyberpunk feel too action focused too spacing them out would be better for them, and Promised Neverland we know loses the plot in the final season.

However, Mob Pyscho & Fruits Basket are both in my top 5 anime of all time. Both of them have very lovely and funny moments, it might be a nice change of pace after all the action animes. :)

2024-01-19 17:18:49 +0000 UTCI'll be 100% honest, I don't think Montana will like Chainsaw Man because of all the blood and stuff 😭 just based off the first ep reaction you previously did HOWEVER I think both of you will REALLY enjoy Promised Neverland!!! While yes, the second season ending is rushed and doesn't stick to the manga, it still wraps up well for an anime and I think both of you will like the mystery/suspense part of the show + the kids are adorable Fruit Baskets is also a really good show!! I'm not sure if Kenny will enjoy it as much, but it really touches on a lot of real-world things that will leave you in happy and sad tears

It also has some extremely well written characters, good soundtrack, and a good dub. Technically the manga is incomplete but the 2011 anime leaves off on a very satisfying note

It has action, heartbreak, funny moments and multiple protagonists that you can get behind. I'm saying this knowing Chainsaw man will probably win rn, but something to consider down the road. 😁

It's also one of my favorite dubs of all time, and the first time since Bleach where I felt seen. Thanks to the latin feel of the protagonist of course. Also as a D&D fan Cyberpunk is another TTRPG that you would love Kenny, and the psychological aspects of the series will keep yall talking for hours

Not to mention the delivery, the tempo, the logical flow, character development is fascinating for such a short season. Since we already have Death Note and Code Geass, this one can be very interesting.

It's a sports anime about a volleyball high school team, which you haven't done before but I think you would immensely enjoy. It has fantastic character development and is extremely fun and engaging. It also tackles some very interesting topics like what is talent & hard work, what it takes to achieve your goals etc. It also has some truly hype moments and the english dub is great!

(As much as I’d love for you guys to watch CSM, it’s only 12 episodes right now and a movie is about to release. I wouldn’t recommend you guys start watching until we get a season 2 release, because that’s when stuff gets really, REALLY interesting.)

Edit: Other than Naruto, can you see about watching Magi or Akame ga Kill, both are quite short. Edit 2: Saw another person suggest Bleach without fillers, which I agree with.
