People tried to learn Hinokami Kagura/Sun Breathing and couldn't get it right so they made adjustments to make it work for them which created Water, Thunder, Flame, Stone, and Wind then from there students of those created their own variants like Sound from Thunder, Flower from Water, Insect from Flower etc and even if he didn't know it Beast has some influences from Wind.
