Steven Universe is a very good show with both insane foreshadowing and also nice representation. It'd be really cool to see if you spot the foreshadowing :3

2023-09-24 16:51:17 +0000 UTCRegular show would be an amazing reaction, it is one of the best shows to come out of the last few decades and it has a surprising amount of character and heart. Its better than steven universe and adventure time, maybe even than gravity falls.

2023-09-20 00:42:04 +0000 UTCI'm hoping we get Vox Machina soon. For more constructive opinions I feel alot more engaged on dramatic shows as opposed to comedy ones. Tbf I've never got far into Adventure Time might be better than I experiencedm

2023-09-17 00:02:27 +0000 UTCThe Legend of Vox Machina came in 2nd place on a massive poll Lett's React put out, only losing to Gravity Falls by a pretty close margin. It would seem that plenty of people like TLOVM.

2023-09-12 04:38:47 +0000 UTCI've seen a lot of anime and while Vox Machina is quite violent, I've seen much worse. VM moments of violence tend to be sudden but brief -- it is mostly for shock value. But the violence is never gratuitous. I've never seen Attack on Titan but as an old weebo, I've seen things like Fist of the North Star and Ninja Scroll, which are practically splatterhouse gore by comparison. Vox Machina is closer to something like Princess Mononoke, where the violence is sudden and shocking, but minimal and used to great effect. If I had one caveat with VM, it's the low-brow gross out humor gets excessive at times. But that criticism is really only for Season 1. As a side note, it would be awesome if Kenny and Montana just did a series on Studio Ghibli film reactions. I would watch all of those.
Robert Bonfante
2023-09-12 01:00:41 +0000 UTCNo. Watch Vox machina instead. It's much better than regular show, which is a lower mid-tier kids show with a dumb bird and a dumber raccoon and the 'humor' is hit or miss, and the show itself is childish and wayyy too long with no plot to hold interest. Now as for Vox Machina, it's got talented voice actors (Matt Mercer, Laura bailey, Travis willingham, Ashley Johnson and many others), it's got moments that will make you laugh out loud, cry in sorrow, yell out in rage, make you say "Aww~" and "ugh.." and "argh!!" In the same span of five minutes. It's an absolute emotional rollercoaster, and designated hype train, and it is WORTH IT. And would provide a good discussion afterwards, Percy would make a great psychology candidate for Montana, and really gets the 'I can fix him.' simp-motor running for everyone who crushes on the broody guy. Not only that, but I will continue to vouch for Vox Machina until it is reacted to, or I am dead and buried, and that is a fact. <3

2023-09-11 13:43:09 +0000 UTCI don't know if there's a lot of similarities between the two shows, outside of both being in the fantasy/sword and sorcery genre. The Legend of Vox Machina is a lot like the recent Dungeons and Dragons movie. Tonally, it's irreverent, comical and it indulges those tropes that tabletop RPGs are known for. Also, just like the D&D movie, it succeeds in telling a grand tale and the writing for the characters are exceptionally well done. TLOVM does a couple things better than anything I've seen in recent memory. It does an excellent job of getting me invested in the main characters, and I mean all of them. Both seasons ran against some top tier competition -- Arcane for season 1 and The Last of Us for season 2 -- and I found myself feeling more invested in the fates of say Pike, and Vax and Keyleth than either Vi and Jinx or Joel and Ellie. And that's a credit to the voice actors and the characters that they've created. The other thing is that TLOVM runs through a gamut of emotions -- it can go from funny and crude to serious and epic to sad or melancholy or uplifting all in one episode. And it handles those tonal changes masterfully. This is especially true with season 2 where there were a stretch of episodes that were so epic that they each felt like the season finales of lesser shows. The things that DOTA and TLOVM do have in common that you might like are these: both are violent and have excellent action sequences (although I do like DOTA's animation style a little better -- Studio Mir rocks). Both have very awesome depictions of dragons (if that's your thing then you will love Season 2). Both tell epic stories and the good guys are put through it in both shows -- there's a sense that death is always on the table for the heroes and they take some brutal punishment and some losses in their journey. I don't know -- I feel that the tone and animation style between the two shows are different, but I think there's enough in TLOVM for you to like.

2023-09-09 21:57:25 +0000 UTCIt's not quite the same, its far more episodic than gravity falls and doesn't have as strong of a narrative (there isn't one at all in the earlier seasons)

2023-09-09 13:19:46 +0000 UTCI just wanted to ask if this is the place to ask it. do you think you guys if you get time would consider reacting to popular animated films you have not seen? similar to how you reacted to the demon slayer movie? because i think occasional reactions to different acclaimed animated movies would be quite fun, unless you guys have seen basically all of the major ones etc. I would recommend, Coraline (2009) or Fantastic Mr. fox (2009) or The Iron Giant (1999). unfortunately because we as viewers want your genuine reactions etc. when it comes to animated films if you wish to do this could you provide a short list of Animated films YOU HAVE SEEN so that we know not to recommend those? thank you very much your content is great.
Aaron Christianson
2023-09-09 10:37:07 +0000 UTCIf you'd also consider tv-shows: I'd suggest Shameless (the US version). It's a long ride, but worth every second in the end. Plus Montana will have a lot and I mean A LOT of moments to use her psychology brain on the characters. If you don't know the show a good synopsys would be: Family of six get raised by their oldest sister because their parents are alcoholic, narcisistic junkies and you follow them long through their 'shameless' adventures as they navigate through day-to-day life. It's funny, sad, exciting. So if you're considering tv-shows, Shameless US would be a great candidate. Plus, there aren't many reactors of that show (only 1 on youtube actually finished it all) so that would help your channel too imp. :)

2023-09-09 03:56:31 +0000 UTCI haven’t seen a lot of Regular Show so I can’t say with accuracy how good or bad it would be, but I know it’s a fun show but perhaps not the best one for your channel as there’s less interesting themes and mystery elements to commentate. I’d definitely recommend Adventure Time or Steven Universe instead! Even though both of them are pretty long series, from my experience they truly leave a mark on viewers and I honestly think they’ll be much more fulfilling watching experiences.

2023-09-09 02:40:52 +0000 UTCCartoons: Adventure Time is great. Over the Garden Wall is short and sweet. Anime: Madoka Magica is a classic. Boochi the Rock is a new favorite TV Shows: Chernobyl is a good. Dark might be the greatest tv show of all time, it is a german show, but it has dub. Umbrella Academy is a bit more light hearted, but its also very good. It would be super hype if you reacted to Dark!

2023-09-08 23:43:35 +0000 UTCRegular show is definently hit and miss if you're more into analytical shows, but I'd still recommend checking it out. for reactions, I would definently say to watch Amphibia next to finish out the shared universe/setting trilogy. 2023-09-08 19:11:56 +0000 UTCI love regular show, but again like alot of other ppl are saying, idk if its the sorta show that fits the stuff yous watch usually? Its a much more episodic based show with a few plotlines thrown in occasionally. A great show I think that'd fit would probs be steven universe/adventure time. Both very fun but are in the same sorta ballpark and would fit pretty well with your usual stuff :) Wouldnt complain if yous do decide to though, as it is one of my favourite shows

2023-09-08 18:14:45 +0000 UTCI would recommend Amphibia next to finish the trilogy of those shows then expanding to other cartoons. Or if y'all want more variety, like another comment said, irl shows? Lucifer is a great show with lgbt rep and a unique plot. What we do in the shadows is a good one too.
Scar
2023-09-08 18:13:22 +0000 UTCIt is a good show but more for casual viewing. There is no real plot and the humor is very much 2010s cartoon network fart/poop, loud = funny ect kind of humor, the more childish stuff. I wouldn't recommend it for a reaction series
Scar
2023-09-08 18:10:55 +0000 UTCthis is for cartoons only, they wont start a new anime until demon slayer is caught up or code is done first, then whenever mha ends in like 2 years

2023-09-08 18:05:11 +0000 UTCTo bring more variety, i suggest you try something different, not cartoon or anime. The show you should watch is THE EXPANSE. It's one of the best book adaption that has ever been made (and yes it's better than Game of Thrones or House of The Dragon). Everything is top notch from the plot, to the dialogues, the characters development, the visual effects. Every detail has its purpose in the story. But what i love the most is the several topics adressed in the show, like the socio-political issues, the shortage of ressources, the technological advancement are all entirely plausible in the near future.
The Evil Queen
2023-09-08 17:52:29 +0000 UTCRegular show would be a fantastic break from the more cerebral shows that I've seen you react to as a newer patron. Personally; I think it would be nice to see the two of you be able to genuinely relax and enjoy a show, instead of being intently focused on breaking down and analyzing scenes for hidden meanings or allusions. Plus you two could cook up some fun inside jokes in the process and that's just a bonus since comedy is good for the soul.

2023-09-08 17:41:33 +0000 UTCYeah just the ATLA angle alone makes it so much more appealing to me haha

2023-09-08 17:15:32 +0000 UTCSince you have watched both gravity falls and owl house I feel like a natural stepping stone would be amphibia which is very much in that Disney realm
justyouraveragefangirl
2023-09-08 17:12:22 +0000 UTCI feel like The Dragon Prince would take Kenny and Montana back to their roots. The show has strong ATLA vibes throughout, even if the setting is a little more conventional. The world-building is also top-notch.

2023-09-08 17:12:06 +0000 UTCI've actually never seen VM, so I'd definitely be interested if it's similar to DOTA!!
Jinchuriki87
2023-09-08 17:08:34 +0000 UTCI enjoyed DOTA: Dragons Blood, but if they are going to go that route, they should at least do Vox Machina first. It's the perfect transition between the content they're posting now: (Gravity Falls, Owl House) and going full on hardcore fantasy like DOTA. Vox Machina's heart lies in its characters. DOTA has interesting characters too, but it is much more story and lore driven.
Robert Bonfante
2023-09-08 17:07:04 +0000 UTCNot sure why I didn't think about it, but I'm still more than happy for y'all to still do dragon prince!!! That really seemed like it would be a good one for y'all's analysis skills!
Jinchuriki87
2023-09-08 16:20:27 +0000 UTCRegular show is good but very episodic. It’s more of a “turn your brain off and go for the ride” kind of show. If you’re talking about it replacing GF once it’s done, I still think you should do Amphibia instead since it goes hand in hand with Owl House and Gravity Falls
Angel Hernandez
2023-09-08 15:51:52 +0000 UTCRegular Show is really good, but it's not really in the same genre as Gravity Falls. Even though I'd love to see you guys react to it, I'm not entirely sure it'd fit with the reaction format you guys do. The show itself is more episodic. The general idea the writers seemed to follow was, "What can we do that'd make zero sense even in a cartoon but would be really cool to do anyway?"

Justin Spencer
2023-09-08 14:40:39 +0000 UTCIt is a very long show to watch in the format that you guys watch shows and it feels like slice of life episodes don’t necessarily connect or have to be watched in order think adventure time in terms of the shows functionality. I enjoy the show a lot but idk if it fits with the serialized shows you guys have in your catalog. Gravity falls is probably the closest thing in recent memory I’ve seen you watch that’s like this. I’ll have a good time rewatching it with you guys but I’m also dreading it taking up a slot for however long it would take to watch it.
